It was hilarious watching the camera guys try their best to avoid that section and telling the riders not to go by him when celebrating/spraying Champaign. IMG 4655 4

You could hear the camera guy telling them not to go by that section? You must have been standing right next to him

I misworded it. I saw the people in charge of the podium event, saying something to each rider before they went on, and after that they only stayed to one section. I could be wrong though, that’s just how it looked

It was him incognito or somebody he paid $5 to hold up the sign he made himself.

Cooksey states the obvious, everyone is making cash in this sport, except the riders.

It was GL. Cooksey gave him a bottle of wine to hold up the sign.

I would say the top tier factory riders on a base salary of around $3 million (just from the factories - doesn't include gear deals) and bonuses are 'making cash'.

Kind of interesting considering they are the show, isn't it? Sure, you can get slower guys to race to replace the top guys, it would still be entertaining. I agree with Cooksey on profit sharing for teams/riders. I think it would be a win/win.

So you didn’t actually see them tell the riders to avoid the area, you just think that’s what they said.

Top guys make money endorsing products, and make a decent salary from the manufacturers or deep pocketed teams,...outside the top 5 or 10, they pay to race. Not a good business model.

I’m not saying the riders shouldn’t get paid more but saying outside of the top 5-10 the riders pay to race might be one of the worst takes I’ve seen. They have more than 10 factory riders in each class and many of the support teams pay salaries and entries. It’s a flat out inaccurate statement you made.

13 of the top 20 in 450 points are factory riders and making good money and that does not include Sexton….Savatgy and Schock are both salaried riders on support teams…so not a good take on your part.

He's all about the clicks and constructing controversy in order to get those clicks. Period.

And BTW, if something is obvious, no matter what it is, why does he need to state it?

Dude averages about 25k in views after 12 hours of upload and we have a niche sport pretty impressive. I can see why legacy media is pissed AC and JB show is killing it too.
