It must be a heavy dose of liberal media in these other countries causing these thought patterns...
If someone was actually here in the US, they would know how stupid those comments are.
Man, if that's your team you're going to get your arse kicked. By you know who...
Mathes was talking to Zacho on his weekly podcast they do together and they both think Sexton and Eli will be on the team. Even with them changing teams. Only because its in the USA and their current teams will give them bikes
You think Deegan, AP, and JCoop is that bad a team? Its not our A team but its pretty damn good. Deegan would win MX2. And AP and JCoop are solid.

Off topic but does anyone know what AUS most likely 3rd rider will be?
It’s not a bad team at all…. Based on current performance, JCoop and AP are both beating Hunter and Deegan will torch AUS rider 3.
They’re not favored with that team, but it’s still quite competitive.
However, that won’t be the team. Eli will be there, and will be the MX1 rider.
I would think it'd be between Kyle Webster and Jed Beaton, depending on who wins the 450 title in Aus this year. Who rides the 250? Not sure, but Webster did ride it last year...
Interesting to note, the final round of the Australian championship is 1 week before this year's Ironman round. I wouldn't be surprised if whoever the 3rd rider is, they're on a plane right after the final moto and racing at Ironman...
You'r kidding, That's a strong arse team.
250 - Deegan
450 - Sexton
Open - Tomac
Alternates -
250 - Hymas
450 - J. Coop
Open - AP
The US usually has the deepest talent pool across all classes at MXoN, even with some 'B-team' picks, so combined with it being at home for you this year, I honestly don't think you have too much to worry about, unforeseen fuck ups aside - which you can never rule out.
Australia will be very strong, but struggle with the third pick. But Jett and Hunter have enough power to carry it home provided third pick gets half decent finishes.
Some of the usual suspect teams from Europe will be very strong, like France (probably the deepest talent pool aside to the US), The Netherlands, Belgium, but I would definitely put my money on a USA win this year. You've just got so much choice, and with the points format, that'd be my pick on a home track for sure.
Team GB (that I only mention here as my team!) have so little depth outside of a couple decent guys (that are aging out), that I think this year will be a real poor showing for us.
The same FIFA that hosted the World Cup in Brazil 2014, while the country was using military force against its own civilians? The same FIFA that used and had a stadium built under modern-day slave labor, which resulted in 6,000+ deaths in Qatar? Is it the same FIFA that held a World Cup in Russia after they annexed Crimea, and won the bid through bribery?
Keep FIFA talk out of this thread, it's the biggest clown show going. Men acting like babies for millions of dollars.
Deegz for Team USA is big. He's a gamer and I think an event like the MXdN will bring out the best in him. I could see an RV type performance out of him, beating a lot of 450's
Be really interesting to see how he goes at MXoN. His current MO of an OK start and overrunning then in the last 10 minutes probably won’t be that effective. Still, he’s arguably in the top 2-3 250 guys in the world right now.
He'll definitely need to bring his A game when it comes to starts going up against all those 450's.
He's in the top 1 250 riders right now. Hymas may be somewhat close on some tracks but nobody else is, realistically, on a US track. On a Euro track maybe it's a different story but I think he'd still win.
There hasn't been a rider in a while that Ive disliked more than him but I'd be lying if I said I don't think he can't win a moto at mxon.
Not a Deegan fan because of his attitude and antics, but no way he would not be the favorite to win MX2 regardless of where the race is held, if he shows up and is healthy. I just don't see De Wolf, Langenfelder, Adamo, etc. beating him over 2 motos barring disaster of some sort
Maybe but he just hasn’t been tested against those guys yet.
Yes, but apart from Deegan there is not a top top flight rider. You need Sexton and Tomac to be there. That would be a great team.
Pit Row
If Deegan lines up at Ironman will he do the same in Europe the following year?
Please stop the Deegan drivel, he’s not going
Yes he will have a great excuse…
I at least hope so….oh shit wrong answer I gave.
I expect him to have some fucking excuse why he can’t ride the de nations.
Maybe he needs a new car
Has to appear in court for something
Maybe his wrist is sore.dont forget he did have surgery last year prior to the matterly basin MXDN……his wrist will be sore because he is jerking himself off so much because he thinks he is so great
Ask Brian. He looks like one of the arseholes from Metal Mulisha.
