What, are the Kardashian sisters taking this week off and Tiger Beat has to speculate on Jake Weimer?

The dude won a SX title and he was on the Des Nations team last year. I don't know if he likes Fruit Loops or Corn Flakes, and I sort of don't care.

This is the prime example why "dad" should get thanked on the podium. Not the girlfriend.

Dad did all the driving and paying, dreaming and wrenching. Girlfriend just did all the laying. And once you run up front pro style.....getting another to do the laying ain't gonna be a problem.

Would love to know which rider snagged the chick of a current champ.

Jake's awesome, i'm a big fan, I said to my brother a couple years ago he was gonna have a break out season then and he did... and I guarantee that smooth stand up riding style of his will see him transfer to the big bikes really well...

This is a serious question cause I know nothing about the "industry" other than what I read on this board, hear on podcasts and see on tv, but what exactly does Mr. Lindsey do in the "industry"? I ask because I was listening to the bodybag and forehead show and apparently there was a issue with fans getting into Pala and Mr. Lindsey said he apologized on behalf of the "motocross ndustry". I have no idea if he has the position and authority to speak on behalf of the "industry". Just curious that's all.

I really don’t have the ability to “speak” for an entire industry, but I’d like to think that I (or anyone else in this industry) have the ability to apologize to regular fans. What happened at Pala was a bummer, and all I meant was that as a member of the motocross industry, I was legitimately bummed for those who got screwed that day. I would think in a context like that, not many in the industry would disagree with me. I’m definitely no industry authority nor did I mean to “speak” on behalf of it.

Thanks Mr. Lindsey, I appreciate your response. Based on the podcast I referenced it seems as if getting in-and-out of the National events are quite challenging.

I agree outdoors was horrible but in the grand scheme of things Jake had a good year and the factories want top SX riders way more than top MX riders.
