It was indeed a savage take down.

A nice sideshow was the dipshit reporter asking about the Qatar plane.

The man ain’t skeered to call out people who are doing bad things or letting bad things happen.  That’s a plus as far as I’m concerned.

Is that such an unreasonable question? I'd be asking the same thing.

Corrupt government, corrupt law enforcement and population of around 63 mil with the white folk being around 7% of that.

The 7% work hard and honest for what they have while the "most" of the rest want what we got without having to work for it....nothing gonna change...in fact, it can only get worse.

YES, white folk are in the crosshairs here.

Except that the "evidence" has been apparent for years, decades actually.

And the question asked, wasn't so much about confirming the facts, as it was tbe neverending attempt to try and get president Trump caught in a gotcha moment.

(Again)

Which is when they tried to quickly shift the focus to the Qatar jet.

Well, if they accepted the evidence provided. But it’s like me asking you to identify yourself, but I refuse to accept your DL, passport, fingerprints, or birth certificate as evidence.

I think of you every time the news calls white genocide there as "baseless, un proven and misinformation "...

They should go interview some white south Africans for a change!

Evidence of what exactly though? Racial Genocide?

As Boomslang will tell you, me & my family have owned property and land in South Africa for decades and I spend a LOT of time there. I've never seen or heard of anything remotely on the scale of what was claimed by Trump yesterday.

Do some of the black population resent what the white population has? Yes. Are there instances of violence against whites because of that? Probably. But as the distribution of wealth hasn't really changed since the end of apartheid you can kind of see why even if you think it's completely wrong - like I do too.

I spend a lot of time in Botswana and Namibia too and I can tell you that the attitude of the black populations towards whites like me is refreshingly neutral - because unlike black South Africans they don't have the hang up of apartheid.

I'm not downplaying how people like Boom feel. It's a sensitive issue and I just wish Trump would of handled it that way.

Sounds like you know more than me in this issue. Some of the video seemed telling, however. Were the graves on the video fabricated?

Those are not graves. But do represent deaths.

Everybody in South Africa suffers violence. Far more of the Africans suffer but a lot of that isn’t because of their past as much as it is about their current government and the endemic corruption they’re entrenched in.

You speak from the comfort of anecdotal privilege while ignoring the lived trauma and mounting evidence of racial violence targeted at white farmers and rural families in South Africa. Saying “I haven’t seen it” doesn’t erase the murders, torture, and brutal home invasions that have become tragically common—many of which go underreported or are dismissed outright because they don’t fit the media’s preferred narrative.

You admit there’s resentment and targeted violence, then minimize it by wrapping it in the justification of unequal wealth distribution—as if that makes it understandable. That’s morally bankrupt. Resentment is one thing. Systematic slaughter and land seizures without compensation are something else entirely.

Trump spoke plainly because politicians dancing around the truth have allowed this to fester. Pretending it’s not happening or blaming history for present atrocities is cowardice. You can spend all the time you want in gated communities or sipping sundowners in Windhoek—but that doesn’t give you license to dismiss the fear and grief of those who’ve buried family members simply for being white landowners.

This isn’t about how blacks feel toward whites. It’s about whether a country tolerates ethnic violence under the guise of “redistribution.” And right now, South Africa’s leadership is toeing a very dangerous line. If you're too blind—or too politically polite—to see that, step aside and let those willing to confront reality speak.

Elliot has good knowledge of SA and his family, I guess own some beautiful land in one of the best places in SA. We has spoken on a few occasions and Elliot with his family have done good with that land. I am so happy for them.

Our government with not touch his land for obvious reasons......

We have serious trouble here....

The African population is growing at the same rate at which rats breed and they consume everything in the same rapacious manner at which a donkey eats carrots.

Us white minorities and where we live are being surrounded by squatter camps and we are robbed  burgled, raped and murdered on a daily basis...

I have nothing but respect for Trump...me and my family would love to come to the USA.

Yep, I watched the whole thing yesterday and Trump went off on that reporter, and rightly so. They just get done watching a video about the violence in SA and the first question from that reporter is about the plane. It was a total "Huh?" moment.

For those who did not watch the full televised portion of the meeting, golfer Ernie Els also spoke as well as someone who looked to be in the opposition party to the president of SA. He said that he has come together with the president to oppose their common enemy, the man in the video calling for the murder of whites.

It sounds like Elliot lives in a nice neighborhood and you live amongst the people.

Its kind of like the folks out on Nantucket asking what's the big deal with people illegally streaming across our southern border.

"The rich people who attend country clubs can't see the problems of the ghettos."

I said "aren't",   not "can't"

My point being,  both Boom and Elliot's view are valid, but perhaps due to geography or socio-economic factors,  they live a different experience.

I couldn't agree with your point more! It's insane how much something as small as a street can have massive socio-economic differences and lead to wildly different experiences and outcomes. I always how think about how lucky I was to be born in the place I am to the family I was as I could just have easily been born in a way worse place to way worse parents.

Born in a great country, to solid parents, at a decent time in history... I wish everyone could have been this lucky.

YES, white folk are in the crosshairs here.

Are you familiar with De Beers Group at all (the diamond people)?

I heard they want to double their security forces over there(not sure exactly why).

I wonder if the ANC is planning on, or going to attempt to take their mines?

That could get interesting. I remember the last time the ANC messed with some powerful folks and  ex SAS guys got involved.  I believe 35 of them in daisy duke style short-shorts wiped out over roughly 6,000 ANC heavily armed idiots.  Imagine having an army of 6,000 plus jungle fighters (trained by Russia & China) and 35 western white dudes show up and wipe them out without getting a  scratch.  I'd love to see it again.

Is there actual evidence of mass killings of white people in South Africa? I’ve never heard any of it at all. When people on the left say there’s a genocide in Gaza, whether you agree or disagree with that, there’s obviously thousands killed so they have the bodies as evidence. I’ve just never read anything about the genocide of white people in South Africa in recent times at all. If someone has a link for me I’d love to read it. It’s also an insane amount of hypocrisy by this administration to allow in white South Africans as refugees escaping a crisis and telling people from other nations facing the same situation to go back where they came from.
