Actually I’m a huge fan of facts but you are so triggered by anything Deegan you can’t help yourself but to try discredit him at every turn…be an adult and enjoy the skill and talent he has as it doesn’t come around very often and don’t get so wrapped up in the off track BS….works for me…

You can’t just be happy for the 17 year old nice kid?

Who cares, they are both awesome

Cmon, you know this thread was started about how he was performing at the start of the sx season. You know absolutely zero people thought he was going to underperform in mx. Except maybe Paul.

Nobody would bet against him outdoors. He is clearly the best 250 rider. That isn’t/wasnt the case in SX.

He clearly was the best as he won the final E/W shootout and wrapped up the title with a race to go.

It's really not.

But since you think it is, elaborate? How many title contenders did rc have to deal with? How many different riders were capable of winning on any given day/night?

At the tail end of his career he had JS7 and chad reed, no one else was even remotely in the same league

The way deegan rides and his cocky ass attitude reminds me a lot of RC in the early years.

Not a fan off the track, love to watch him ride…. At the end of this outdoor season, he’ll be ahead of Jett’s pace for sure.

But does that really mean anything?  Not to me.  I just want to see what the head to head looks like in about 3 more years. Then the banter has significance, no matter which side you’re on.

He rides so much like RC. Right on the edge of insanity but just safe enough to never get bit. Along with the cockiness. He’s small in stature like RC too and kind of moves like him on the bike. I’m surprised more people don’t talk about this.

Dethroned MC, Prime Bubba, Prime Reed, Prime DV, Prime KW, Prime Sebastian Torelli, Pastrana, RonRon, Tim Ferry, Davi Millsaps, Trey Cannard, Ryan Dungey, Tomac, Langston and Ryan Villopoto seems like a pretty stout list to me. I’m certain I’ve left out a few more due to  it being several years ago. I actually think the field at this time is weak in comparison, no matter how much the media wants to hype it.

That's because RC was so much better. KDub, who RC beat 99% of the time, kicked Stefan Everts ass at a USGP. There was competition, RC was just worlds better.

The young man is incredible outdoors. So far this season he is showing his fitness and speed are a few steps above anybody else in the class. Barring injury or bike problems, I can see him winning every overall this season.

Dude, it’s not hard.

I know you guys hate the answer but it’s still the answer.

Yes he won the title. He was supposed to. It wasn’t even supposed to be close. As a matter of fact before the season started the moto media, anyone wearing a Monster logo, and hord of paid internet shills kept tripping over themselves that he was going to go undefeated. He was a “Generational Talent”…

In SX he was not.

Davies had two wins, matching Deegan going into Denver. He was leading in Denver until he teammate (Deegan) cleaned him out. Hint: That would have been 3 in a row. As a rookie, while Deegan is an experienced 250 SX rider in his 3rd season. Davies also had numerous fastest qualifying as well.

Deegan, Davies, Jo, JuJu, Hymas, and Smith all had wins.

Hint: Its an 8 race regional SX feeder series…

His competition all missed races due to injury; Entire PC Team, Jo, JuJu, Hymas, and Smith as well. Davies missed the East/West shootout.

Series winner, obviously yes

“Generational” - Hell no

I guess it's underwhelming when you win more races than any other 250 rider on either coast and wrap up the championship a week early....poor Paul he'll never understand...He started this thread to shit on Deegan and when it backfired his DDS kicked in and he doubles down....

I didn't hear anyone predicting he would go undefeated in SX, and I've never heard anyone refer to him as a generational talent in SX. Feel free to prove me wrong, but I think you made that up.

One step closer to earning your Monster logo pin.

Race result’s of 5,3,1,2,1,3,3,2,1 (Denver’s Last Lap Teamate take out) sound “Generational” to you?

Again, it’s an 8 race regional SX feeder series

Just based on what you said, Davies is the most successful rookie we've seen in quite some time.  He easily could have had two more wins rather than just the two he got.

He won't be ahead of Jett's pace by the end of the season. Haiden is an amazing rider and is mopping the floor with these 250 ladyboys but Jett is in a whole different league.

Cole Davies is already a better SX rider than Haiden. Once he gains more experience he'll dominate.
