Like they say, if you take someone out don't take yourself out too. This just fits RJ so well.

I liked Juju until he started playing those games, stop messing with a championship you're not involved in.  That was so lame.

Great job Seth, another heartbreaking moment for Mitch

He still would've lost though.  That's what makes it even dumber.  Poor Seth and PC, that was theirs.

Ktm group was never gonna let Kawasaki win after they signed Chase! Probably last KTM championship!  Sucks for Seth and Mitch!

I saw your deleted or removed post where you said you hope RJ breaks his neck outdoors. Pretty fucked up.

I’m not surprised. Every post of his is pure garbage. Not worth engaging.

If Seth had gone down, and RJ had stayed up, it would have been more comparable. Probably some fan booing involved…..

With sports betting  now part of the game ,

How is what ju ju did, or even what Justin cooper did last week not passing Webb , not like shaving points is in ball sports

Seth was looking great and was running the fastest laps out of everybody. Then about half way he runs it in on vialle and then him and juju start going back and forth with eachother. The last time seth ran it in on juju it drained both of their momentum and allowed rj to cut down an entire rythm section sized gap instantly. Then rj is on his ass and they go 2 more turns and seth goes outside? Then instead of backing off and giving it to rj whos known worldwide for getting jiggy with it seth holds it on around the outside and when rj hits him seth falls on top of rj and theyre both down.

You gotta give some of the blame to seth here he was the fastest guy out there he shouldnt have been making contact all over the place and shoulda just ran away from these guys and took home a quiet 2nd behind deegan. I literally said to my dad if seth keeps going back and forth with these guys something bad is gonna happen. Letting the real danger boy rj close in on him so fast set them both on a path of destruction.

That being said this is a huge learning experience for seth and hes clearly taken that next step. Hes gonna be a problem going forward. This is still a massively successful year and the kids future is bright.

How was cooper webb allowed to hide a torn thumb ligament for an entire season until after it was over? These guys are playing the old moto games in a new world with sports betting and they might want to choose whether they want to actually be by the books or not allow betting at all because this could cause a huge problem down the line if they dont clean it up. I personally dgaf cuz I dont gamble but I dont want to see the sport get wrapped up in a lawsuit that hurts everybody. That would blow.

RJ started outside the top 10 and was the 2nd fastest rider on the track . . . until he wasn't. Very poor decision with plenty of time left on the clock.

is RJ a butthead or did Seth leave the door wide open?

Guys, the RJ pass was dumb and cost them both.....but Julian's pass back on Seth was 100% fine.  This is a 250 shootout and it was for position. It was not dirty, he didn't t-bone him.  It was aggressive, but they are paid to race and he had zero reason to not fight for 2nd.

Fine.  What comes around goes around.  Don't bitch or whine when it comes back around on him someday and he loses a championship as a result.  That is all.

That was RJs impatience, he had a title in the palm of his hand. It just happened to do wrong by hammaker, and great for Tom.

So if it had been the shootout and the same pass happened, all of you would be cheering for his aggressiveness and great racing.  I was rooting for Seth and wanted him to win, but there is nothing wrong with battling for position and that is what that was.  If it was Thrasher, would you care since there was not a Star bike in the mix?

He already won a 450 heat race in 2023. He’ll do fine.

Everyone, or small minority?

A lot of people thought he was a tool for what he said and how he acted AFTER the move but whatever

The move was fine - it was for the title. The execution sucked and cost them both. Bummed for Hammaker.

Exactly. That would have been a championship pass had he not gone down, and probably considered fair.

The fact that it didn’t need to happen then and there is probably something RJ will beat himself up over for a long time.

I had no favorite for this championship, but really would have liked if Hammaker got it considering how he handled that and rode all season

Absolute bummer for Seth. Saying that I’m not that mad about it. RJ’s only route to the title at that point was to pass Seth and put another rider between them for the point differential. His only option was to put Seth down and hope a few riders would buffer in-between. At the same time that was the most bone headed and poorly executed way possible to pull that off. What the fuck, RJ?  Rule number one of a takeout is don’t put yourself down as well. He probably had the pace to make the move elsewhere and execute it better. Total rush of blood. Had to put the balls on the cross bar pad for the championship and he fucked it entirely.

Gutted for Seth, Mitch & the PC crew. Hard not to feel shafted by that.

Also really don’t think the Beaumer move was that bad. If he was going out of his way to buffer for Tom why did he pass him early in the race? He’s out there to race for himself. He was just passed and in the following 90 degree corner the rider in front left the inside open. He 100% makes that same pass back regardless of who he was passing.

RJ had about $750k on the line and had 2 minutes plus a lap to make something happen. Was it too aggressive or soon? Maybe. But nobody on here has ever been in that position and doesn’t know what they would do. Most of the guys on here would probably slap their mom for $500. Imagine what types of bone headed decisions you could make with that much money on the line, your heart rate at 190, and all the adrenaline pumping.

Seth had 6 seconds on him and got caught. That’s on him.

Slap their mom for $500🤣😂

I think RJ and Jordan Smith must be buddies. Their whole careers they sit around and try to think of ways to fuck everything up.

What a legend for handling it so well on the podium. Even more of a fan.

It was the right move, only (as mentioned above) just poorly executed.

I do have sympathy for Seth for other reasons but the truth is there isn't a universe in which RJ passes him clean, only for Seth to then politely return the favour later. If Seth stays up during the pass, then RJ is the one going down at the next opportunity... That's just the reality.

Where I do have sympathy for Seth is in the outside interference from Julien. It'd been so long since we'd seen something so blatant that frankly I think many of us had forgotten that that was a thing. The norm the past few yrs is that, though the possibility is always there, other riders (team members or not) respectfully stay out of the title battle as much is possible.

Racing is one thing but to directly hit Seth like that, and so resulting in significant loss of time, is kinda lame...

Leave it among the guys in the battle to work it out for themselves.
