Vialles win got overshadowed by Coops win, but I have to say that was a clutch win. He took the points lead with 1 round to go and having not won a race yet this season. That was a veteran/champion ride. He gave himself as good of a shot at the title now as he can get. It sucks what happened at foxboro, but now he made up for it and if he can finish in front of both seth and rj hell win his 2nd sx championship. He put himself in as good of a position as he can possibly be in going into the shootout. Now its winner take all between all 3 or whoever can finish in front of the other 2 with rj needing a 1 man gap between him and tom. Not a bad position to be in at all.

It certainly was impressive. I for one had started to think he was out of it, but yet again Vialle showed he’s a championship rider. Was the ride of the day imo.
I like how he charged this round. He is still a bit stiff with limited experience but smart and silky smooth everywhere, like Musquin was in 250. I hope he is not too bruised up after 2 big ones in quali in only 1 week. He is also improving in the whoops but to get to the next level he may need a lil help from a rider like DV. Musquin and DV are very close so I hope they can make it
Overall, not matter how the finale will be, this season has been amazing on multiple levels and will remain in the memories ; the record on the number of winners is just incredible !
Said that immediately in the race thread, clutch ride! I kinda want Seth to win. But Tom stepped up and all 3 guys control their own destiny now
What makes this even more impressive is that he won despite losing A LOT of time in Sector 5 (the first rhythm after the start).
I'm pretty sure he knew his line was slower but he wasn't willing to do the faster one because that's how he crashed in practice.
I'm not sure how much time he lost over the course of the main event. But Thrasher had almost every single lap under 8 seconds in that sector. Vialle's best run through that sector was 8.262 (7th fastest sector time). So he lost at least 1/4 second there very single lap, unless I'm missing something.

Clutch ride for sure…but he had some help from main competitors making mistakes. I would be more confident if straight up speed had won. As for any of the 3 riders in the running….East/West shootouts are so unpredictable it will take some level of luck. The points breakdown doesn’t really take in to account that the fastest 2 250 riders are West riders.
Unless all three are outside the top 5, it’s quite literally whoever finishes in front of the other 2 wins the title. Cinema!
Especially when you consider the fact that Thrasher is the same type of rider as Vialle in the sense that when he gets a hole shot he usually has no problem leading every lap and getting the W.
So for Vialle to chase him down and pass him for the W was huge. Especially since his speed hasn’t been there all year. He just has that championship factor to him. Some guys just have the mentality and don’t crack under pressure. His championship last year was even more impressive to me than if he gets it this year.
Between the 3 of them, I’d put my money on Vialle just for the fact that this will be his 4th professional championship. The guy knows how to get it done.
Not true. Anything but a win from RJ and Vialle is within 2 points then Vialle wins. ie RJ 2nd and Vialle 3rd. Same for Hammaker since he has 2 wins, if RJ 2nd and Seth 3rd. If RJ is 4th then they can be 2 places back and still beat him in the championship. RJ needs to win to be sure.
My daughter was pumped for him. Specifically after his get off in qualifying. She got his fender from said get off too!
Ah you’re right! RJ has to win. Didn’t realize he was 3 down and not 2. They all do control their own destiny though. A win for any of them and nothing else matters.
Exactly…but a tall order with Cole and Haiden being faster. It’s gonna get crazy. I’m going to Denver, but damn I am tempted to go to Salt Lake also.
Yeah, although I am a big fan of Vialle, I want Hammaker to break the Pro Circuit Kawi curse (and his own personal demons) and win the title. But Tom rode like a champion, and if he pulls this off, it willbe well deserved.
Got er done
