I don't like the arsehole at all. The problem is, Cooksey can say whatever he wants..he fabricates bullshit and everyone jumps in to discuss and debate which gives him the feet and the numbers of hits etc...it's a whole fucked up deal...because the mass footprint he generates equates to money...
One of his videos popped up on my feed last week and it was all current event stuff. The tarrifs and some other stuff, didn't click on it but thought it was funny.
He has a shoot first, ask questions later attitude to everything. As soon as he gets a nugget of information, he just runs with it and puts it out there as if it’s fact. There is so much speculation and such a lack of actual proof, that no matter how close he is to the truth (and I’m sure on occasion, he is pretty close), it makes him incredibly difficult to believe.
To come out and say what he said about Herlings without doing his due diligence is insane. He seems to not realise that he’s talking about actual people, and what he says has implications on those people. I have no time at all for his style of ‘reporting’. Most of it is just gossip and drama that most of us have no need to know about
That is my primary reason for watching him, I know people in the industry do give him some dirty scoops that most won't report.

It’s common sense, people knew, fans even knew at the time that Herlings was seeing Tonus’ sister, it was common knowledge. If the then current MX2 world champion was dating a 12 year old I think that is something people would have known about.
Sometimes I think he does make stuff up, yeah. He brought Herlings into the matter that has nothing to do with him for example. I don’t doubt that people tell him stuff, but does he ever verify the information?

If you’re going to make such serious accusations, and you can’t verify the only important piece of information, then just don’t say anything. The idea that it’s not his fault or there was nothing he could do because that’s what info he had is laughable.

i don't think many can disagree that it was a stupid comment to make. I suppose the curious part is that the MAJORITY of the stuff he brings up does have some "fire" behind the smoke. Uptite is confirming this in the thread. Yes, you have to filter him between "What did he just pull out of his ass?" and "What if there's some truth to this?" - having followed along with his vids for years, the MAJORITY of the time he's very close to the truth (and the truth typically is exposed at some point). Just my .02. I know it's Vita's overwhelming position to just hate on him, and I suppose there's good reason for that...sometimes.

The problem is that it doesn’t really matter how close you are to the truth most of the time if you mix it in with shit like this. It doesn’t take much to lose your credibility, and when there are multiple instances of him talking about something without knowing the facts, or it not being remotely true, how can you rely on what he’s saying?
After the Demuth bullshit, I straight up messaged him twice on facebook about it and he said, 'Enough, let it go'. I said, ok, I'll let it go when you let your shit with Davy Coombs go, and the fucking pussy blocked me. He's a hypocrite POS and he knows it. There's your hero.....
