Looking for the ultimate MX bike display stand for a museum. Any leads?
Thankyou
Problem solved, Tony Cairoli is sending me his extra titanium stand.
Ultimate? Design, and build one yourself...... just the way YOU want.
Use of this bike stand for any other purpose is punishable by law.
The focus should be the bike and not the stand. So something simple like the shape of a tuff block but bigger for the bike to stand on.
The people's focus should be 100% on the bike and not on the stand.
That's the one! Looks f#$king stunning man. Where can I get one?

I don't know if they do this in SA, but here in the states business' will just place wood pallets out by the road for people to take, often times with a "free wood" sign.
Well, a lot of people are not aware of it but grocery stores do the same thing with milk crates but they are more discreet about it, stacking them up behind the store. So discreet in fact that they will not even advertise with a "free" sign. 🤫
My preferred method is two automotive jackstands under the frame spars.
chef's kiss 👌🏻
We knick them whenever the opportunity presents itself. They are awesome for storing stuff in at work and we use them to transport tools and equipment to job sites. Many years ago when I was broke and could not afford a proper stand I had one just like that for my CR250.
What about no stand? Take a look at some pictures or youtube videos of Barber's Motorcycle Museum. The bikes that are on the ground or pedestal are tied down by thin cables, and not on stand just have a clear wheel chock.
Not good enough...back in the early 70's we incorporated a cut-out for the down pipe.
Yes, admittedly I will probably have one of the local Indy Race Teams fab something for me.... Just checking or other options.
Yes, a nice idea for a hillbilly trailer park...
Does this come with Mr. Ryno....if so I am interested!
Pit Row
The best lead so far....
Good try...but technically not a stand...sorry!
Your focus is too narrow.
This is like the exhibits they have at natural history museums to showcase an artifact within a scene, gives the viewer better context.
Horrible quality, but we had this sweet display at the dealer I worked at years ago.
I remember that stand vividly. Whatever happened to it?
It would look so much cooler, if the rear mount could be hidden.
Is this by chance hanging in a sports grill in (or around!) York Pennsylvania?? 🤔
That bike looks suspiciously similar to one hanging in a restaurant we ate in when we travelled out there from Oklahoma to spend time with the kids a summer ago! (My son moved to Aberdeen MD for a job at the proving ground) Took the grandkids there for lunch and my all things two-wheeled grandson was impressed with the bike hanging above our table!
Looks like the same scooter & restaurant! 😎 👍❗️
Is Tony actually sending you a stand?! Normally I'd think this is a joke but Tony seems like the kind of guy who would actually do this 😂
Had free time awhile back and was bored of the standard metal stand. I took the inspiration from the old wooden boxes people made back in the day
