I am starting to wonder if they simply hire Bondo and co because they are cheap and easy. Aka zero competition and they are way too comfy in the chairs they occupy, because they absolutely are awful at their job

Haven’t been up to date on my powerslap but I would bet my bottom dollar the commentators of that sport are more insightful than Rick and Leigh, Laugh, Love combined. That is absolutely crazy though, the world we live in is a weird one

He’s not talking about the people that know the sport inside and out.  He’s talking about the people that send him messages with completely unhinged rants that don’t make any sense. You know like a Cooksey subscriber. I’ve always thought it odd that people instantly feel included in the fan bashing, I know Weege isn’t talking about me.

Yes, Weege and Matthes forget there are other motorsports out there, and fans are able to watch them. Therefore, everyone has all the evidence in the world on how motorsports should and can be covered. Weege knows full well the product he is involved in is terrible but rather than stay quiet he tries to shift focus on to the 'dumb' fans. I would argue many of the fans are far more accomplished than either Fatthes or Weege and definitely know when they're watching their favourite sport be butchered by a bunch of halfwits and dullards.

This is exactly it. NBC doesn't care about supercross (hence the shit they feed up every week) and they know they can get away with it because the fans have no option but to watch it if they want to watch supercross.

Perfectly put, I wish I could make a change more than just watching the races on my friends peacock instead of paying for it myself but I haven’t figured out the method yet

But they put huge effort and money into making it shit. One dude does MXGP, two do MotoGp, two do AFT, and we have the supporting cast and extras of the BenHur film covering supercross. In addition to RDL's crew, we have Will, JT, the two or three dingbats in the booth plus a plethora of whoever wants to show up with even a modicum of fame Jackass episodes could give. Hard to believe they have time to even show the races with the Jody Chitwood verbal stuntshow going on between the horde of linguistic underachieving illiterates blabbering on about wheelbarrows and riders not even qualified for the night show. It is almost as if NBC wants to stunt or curtail the success of SX to keep it cheap for them to air.
