Whatever Happened to That Crypto Sponsor in Supercross?

I was simply wondering what happened with the sponsor SX had that was pimping the cryptocurrency a couple of years ago. Did they make a few bucks and run? Or have they gotten so big that SX doesn't matter to them any longer? Just wondering.

I believe they got caught up in the downfall of FTX, not because they were doing anything shady but because they had some kind of connection with them.  Think of it like a major bank going under, there will be collateral damage that effects a lot of legitimate companies and businesses that are more of less innocent bystanders unfortunately.

Ok just wondered, thought maybe they were serious and hoping not like others involved in crypto. Forgot about CBD as a thing. That didn't take long either.

I found one of those bracelets yesterday in a drawer... that made me laugh.

CBD is life changing for people with certain ailments, but i doubt many MX guys fit that demographic.

Laugh all you want, my crypto investments are STILL up at least 300% right now. Some are up 700%... just wish I had invested more from 2017-2020, but I was newly married.

I’m happy for you man but it doesn’t change the fact that the crypto scene is a grifters paradise

And the biggest grifters paradise in the world is the US dollar.

Nah, it’s the euro——which is propped up by the dollar.

Happy tariffs! No more three month ‘holidays’ funded by the U.S. taxpayers.

The same thing happened to Smartfi that happened to all low effort crypto grifts. The "wallstreet finance" posers that promised "amazing new tech" (That was already many decades old) got paid to come up with a half ass'd ideas and the smart contracts facilitated a very easy way for grifters to exploit hungry "investoors".

Id say that 95% of all crypto projects fail and just go to 0. The only ones that are "real" are the ones that just offer a store of value and do nothing fancy. ie: BTC, ETH and maybe a couple other top 10 market cap coins. The rest are just flashes in the pan. Just like penny stocks of the past. I would know. I got into crypto in 2014 and have been in ever since. Back in the early years it was amazing. The coders were in charge and building real projects not focused on finance. Then the "twitter day tradoors" showed up and ruined it all with NFTs and Meme coins.

The idea of an immutable ledger hosted on millions of decentralized machines is the pure definition of freedom of info and press. Imagine Car titles, VIN numbers for collector cars, House titles, Messaging systems all on the blockchain for almost nothing in cost. instead we got digital cat breeding and A list celebs shilling million dollar cartoon Monkey pictures. Money ruins everything. Oh well.

my worthless 0.02 sats. (BTC)
