Someone Told Me

Ducati is affiliated with Monster, so this move would require Monster to pull out the checkbook to replace his Red Bull personal deal.  TLD would have to replace the Fox money, and Kenny would need to spend his final years in SX developing (through racing) an all new desmo bike (that was developed in Europe by one of the world’s greatest outdoor motocross riders who has no SX experience) to race Supercross.  Anything is possible, but this scenario seems unlikely.

When did Ducati affiliate with Monster?

The MXGP team is Monster sponsored, but I don’t think TLD has announced any energy drink affiliation.

I can’t see how Kenny would want to start over and develop a new bike. It’s the end of his career he wants to get some wins and try to go out on top.

If it's tied to TLD i doubt it. Fox pays him to much and I don't see TLD and ducati wanting to match that.

Ducati has a lot of money...they could pay for Tomac to stay unretired for 20 years and not feel the burden of his salary.

Word from reliable DUC affiliated sources was Coop and Kenny. But this was also 5-6 months ago a lot may have changed since.

Well, If Kenny is such an automotive enthusiast, surely Zook can sweeten the pot with an offering of their own:

suzuki-x90-1995-2000-suv-interior-1

They'd win me over with a Suzuki Cappuccino or Mightyboy instantly.
