He’s insanely good. His progression is almost unmatched. He’s on the verge of being a superstar and yet he’s humble. I hope he stays healthy and continues progressing. Everyone better watch out.

The progression is what's wild. Futures last year and was pretty evenly matched with Adams or you might actually give Drew the edge. Now a year later and when Cole is on, he's waxing everyone

Another insane race by Davies yesterday.
Rookie mistakes are normal, but to come back from almost last after the crash to 5th is pretty insane. He finished 21 seconds off the lead despite coming through damn near the entire field. 4 sec behind RJ, 8 sec behind Deegan.
He'll win one this year.

And with the entire 250 field out there on a gnarly track. What am absolute unit. Jett had high praise for him and his technique. Good luck against him after he gets a full year under his belt. I'm excited to see how much he's improved in mx

The last half of the main I think Davies looked better than anyone else on track. Can't even imagine how good hee'll be next year.

I thought all the YOT guys were wearing Fox, I didn’t remember Ernesto wearing Sinisalo. Those bikes looked great

Do you see Cole having a ceiling as high as Jett's? Who's more talented?

No one has ever had the legs of Jett but the rest is even and Cole is strong on the bike.

They didn't show him much in the main event but sounds like he was skimming the whoops pretty much the entire race. Shimoda finished 6th, so this clip of him passing Shimoda would have been pretty late in the main event.

Just watched that Dirt Shark video on him last night, really like the kid’s quiet and no frills approach. Parents seem like they do a great job as well, mom seems like a rad lady.

He reminds me of Chad Reed when he was on YOT.I think he kind of looks like a younger Chad Reed . His riding reminds me of Reed.  His attitude is not like Reeds was back in those days though, Reed felt like he should be on a big bike instead of the 125/250 class and was making it known. So he came across ass stuck up and cocky at the time. I grew to become a Reed fan around the time he started his team.  And now I have a different perspective of how he was in those early days.

When he was beating Deegan at those earlier races, I was thinking back to RV and Trey Canard. That season that Trey came in and smoked RV for the 250 SX title.

I could see him becoming a dominant guy in that class over the next few years as Deegan and others move up. He's so good already .
