I’m here for the summer and brought my bike and quad down with me. I’m in Mullica Hill. Does anyone here know any open areas to ride? I’ve been to the tracks already just looking for a open area. And no I’m not willing to illegally trespass or anything. Someone with permission or a open public area is good. Thanks!

There are places in Pennsylvania and New York that aren't too far that also have trail riding available, but that's a decent drive from South Jersey.
Have bail $$$ available...

New Jersey riders, we’re getting screwed out of having fun! I’ve got a CR125R, no plate, just a wannafor rip. But NJ is designed to keep us off the throttle, shutting down our spots and leaving us with nowhere to ride. we should get in a group and hit the pits before the season starts and the patrols crack down. Let’s have fun. Who’s in? MAKE NJ GREAT AGAIN!
unfortunately no one is going to give up their riding spots to someone on the internet. It sucks to be that way but right now protecting our spots is priority in this shit hole state. Good luck.
No matter the state. Most people won’t be giving up spots. The less people riding these spots the better.
While I appreciate the enthusiasm, rolling into NJ pits with large groups of out-of-towners is the quickest way to attract police and park patrol. My best advice is to ride in a small group and strategize your parking, because that’s where the authorities end up getting you (waiting at your truck). Stay away from residences surrounding the pit because 90% of the time, they’re usually the ones calling the cops (the other 10% are riding the pit haha). The best legal way to ride some of these places is to race some ECEA harescrambles… many of these clubs set up layouts through the pits you’ve probably scoped on google maps.

Anyone still riding pits down in NJ wanna PM me? I haven’t been down in a few years, but I used to go to 2 in particular and was curious if they were still open. I won’t say them publicly in case it’s your current spot.
I don’t live in New Jersey, been to njmp a few times, but I always hear about these sand pits. What are they? Just a big hole with sand? Why are they there?
A few hundred miles of this…

South Jersey is dominated by coastal marshes, beaches, and pine Forrest’s on sand beds that used to be beach. Called the “Pine Barrens”
E town is opening this weekend
And if you want to ride your quad and bike on a track you can go up to Walden March 22
The sand pits in south NJ have the best dirt in the country, in my opinion. As others have said, you have to know someone who rides there who is willing to explain how you can ride there. Not information anyone wants to put on the internet, as the idiots ruin these places for everyone. It also rains year round, so I time it to go after it rains.
I always go during the week, and take some trash from said idiots with me when I leave.
If you live in south NJ, talk to people. Otherwise, field of dreams and englishtown are fun tracks.
In the mid to late 80's we would run 100mph+ towing our bikes from PA down to the pine barrens every weekend to a place with initials like gym class. Tracks and trails and miles of sand woops. People talk smack about Jersey, I loved that place. Such good times. If only I had a time machine. Pine barrens and Jersey girls. Love it!! Great to hear people are still bustin outlaw.
I was imported from the Midwest to NJ… and was one of the smack talkers, but this state has everything I want and more within an hours drive. 3 hours and I’m in DC or the ADK Mountains
The days of South Plainfield, Watchung, Forked River, Wall Township etc are long gone. Blue state and way over regulated. Back in the day if you took your goggles off during a race at Englishtown, Millville or New Eygup the State Police would write you a ticket. Good luck!
Quads are impossible legally. As said, tag your bike and yes you can tag whatever and ride all over. Otherwise go to pa to the coal mines and pay. Police athletic league(pal) in eht has a small moto track and some quad stuff but its really set up for kids and a bit pricy if out of town. Most just ride illegally as there is literally no legal places.
