Democrats don't even like Ukraine, they just hate Trump. And since Trump opposes the War, they'll say the opposite just to be opposing losers. Same goes with DJ Daniels and the other family victims mentioned. The party of no soul has shown their true colors.

Here's the real difference. The things democrats think are vital or important AREN'T. The republican side actually has morals and important policies to keep this country true to its Constitution. Dems constantly shit on the Constitution, trying to take rights away.

Morals 🤣🤣

Neither side has any morals, if they did, they wouldn’t support any politician

It was an honest question.

If you can't see a world in which you might be capable of seeing something from the other sides point of view then you're not here for a discussion, you're here to have your opinions unchallenged, which is why people like myself avoid responding because (speaking only for myself, not all the left leaning folks on the board) I find it a complete waste of time to converse with someone who refuses to be open to other people points of view.

I can’t think of any reasons not to applaud the guests who have gone through hell. That’s all I’m saying.  I’d love to hear your point of view, and I’m 100% open to hearing you out. I may or may not agree with you, but it doesn’t mean I’m not interested in hearing your perspective.

So let’s hear it.

I see it all the time....    people (including myself) post something that no sane person could take offense to  get downvoted.    Downvotes are meaningless.

Stay tuned....downvoting is about to be weaponized on this forum.    50+ downvotes and your post disappears (according to ML).   You know that feature will be abused to death.  Give the bed-wetters a goal and they will hit it.    10-20-50-100....whatever it takes.

I'm going to start this response with three things...

1. I'm not defending the democrats for not standing, I think it was a dumb move.
2. I 100% would have stood up.
3. I fucking haaaate how theatrical both sides make these east / west shootouts; I hate the standing every fifteen seconds, I hate the endless clapping, I hate the virtue signaling, and I hate how they use people as political pawns. Get in, get your applause, say your shit, get another applause, and get the fuck out because – like everything else wrong in this country – this is yet another pathetic example of how this whole place has devolved into a pathetic series of na na na na na boo-boo spectacles that leaves both of us losers.

As far as why I think the democrats didn't stand in that specific moment, I can only make an assumption because I wasn't one of them in the room, but I feel like them not standing wasn't to not show support for the kid, but an incredibly poorly executed attempt to not show support for Trump using that kid as a political pawn after he spent nearly the entire speech preaching "the importance of unity" yet doing nothing but blaming and bullying democrats. It reminds me of a kid I knew in high school, Brad. He was huge piece of shit to everyone and if one day he went, "oh hey, how about giving it up for Tommy (the disabled kid in my school)", I would have said "fuck off" to Brad (because it would have been obvious what he was doing) but continued to be chill with Tommy. The problem is, they can't say "fuck you" in that format so they chose the only thing they thought they could do, which is stay seated... which is why us younger left leaning folks are so fucking sick and tired of the old guard and exactly why we have been / will continue to work to vote them out.

So you’re saying you agree with me that it was dumb they didn’t acknowledge the guests. So I’m not sure why you took issue with what I said.

I do agree with a lot of what you’re saying. I know it wasn’t intended to be a “F you” toward those guests and was an extremely piss poor execution to say “F you” to trump. Regardless, we both agree they messed up and handled that situation very poorly.

I also agree the Democratic voters need to get some new blood in there if they ever plan on winning elections again. And by new blood I don’t mean people like AOC.

But was the reason valid and defendable?

Just remeber this boom, mass migration of low education, slave labor tax burdens across the world into western society is mentally to do 1 rhing and 1 thing only thats to make the population easier to control. As I wrote in papers in high-school and college these people if it was the military would be just cannon fodder. Bodies used to be a means to an end. They don't care about them they care about the ability to manipulate them and bring in even easier, less educated, less functional in society immigrants that will be easy to take any semblance of power the people have away.

It's just replacing people who would fight for power to the people to people who won't have the ability to.

Thank you for writing this. Its absolutely why, and disturbing.
The elite generally despise us, maybe even hatred.
The UN/WEF members have openly said they want depopulation. From 2-4 Billion people range are the numbers it ranges that ive read/heard.

Grasp those numbers.

It ties in with Trans-Humanism, AI and robots. Such a large workforce is not needed anymore.

Borrowed time people, borrowed time,.. because we arent in the club.

"All we needed was a new president"

That had to really make them squeeze their paddle handles.

Stood there listing off his accomplishments in less than 2 months, which totaled up to more than any of them have done in their entire time taking up space in their DC offices, or house chamber.

Must suck to live in one of their districts, seeing it turn into a wasteland, then see them on the news, never doing anything but whining, and crying about president Trump.

Forgive me as a foreigner (slightly right leaning), but I really pity that it appears how important you folks in the US place on party lines and policies. I’m assuming this based on online persona, but that’s all I’ve got to go on.
We aren’t that way (yet) in Australia and I hope we don’t dive down that cliff as it looks fucking exhausting.
Sit back and enjoy your life and family, ignore the politics that has minimal impact on your life (macro v micro)

Biggest thing here that's has everyone all knotted up is, we have a president who really is deeply affiliated with either party.

No doubt the Republicans are, somewhat, behind him.

But as a whole they've been just as inept as the paddle wavers, and cane clutchers.

They hang onto him as a way to stay in the good graces of the voters.

At least Wombat had the balls to explain himself and explain that he also would have stood up.  What is the problem with my post? Did I miss where you guys were bummed about getting rid of important research?  I'll say sorry if that's the case but all I saw is outrage over more propaganda like "8 gazillion dollars spent on transgender mice".

Here is the issue...the left doesn't have any policies...all they run on is keeping the status quo (unchecked waste, deficit spending, putting other countries ahead of America) and mostly, opposing Trump/anti-trump...I wish they could see Trump as a member of the same team as them (who has a different way of doing things), but they don't, they see trump as an opponent at best, but the reality is that so many of them see him as the enemy.  They'll burn America to the ground to prevent Trump from having any success...and that's at the root of what you are seeing from the outside looking in

Status quo spending and waste will bk this country (and that affects the entire world!)...its way past time to cut spending and eliminate waste, we have no choice, and it sucks that some of that spending that is cut does end some programs that do some good things in the world, but we just can't afford it.

The left is saying Trumps spending cuts and waste elimination will crash the economy...well...An economy that is propped up by government deficit spending, government waste, and government jobs isn't a strong economy at all...it's a fragile house of cards...that WILL fall if nothing changes...and that fall will rock the entire world, NOBODY wants that.  Better to make the corrections now than do nothing and face the exponentially greater consequences of never making them.

"So you’re saying you agree with me that it was dumb they didn’t acknowledge (that kid)"
Total agreement.

"So I’m not sure why you took issue with what I said."
It's not that I took an issue with what you said in regards to your opinion, it's that I took issue with you saying, "They have no legitimate reason.", of which based on this...

"I do agree with a lot of what you’re saying. I know it wasn’t intended to be a “F you” toward those guests and was an extremely piss poor execution to say “F you” to trump. Regardless, we both agree they messed up and handled that situation very poorly."

I think we agree that there was a little reason, not no reason.

"I also agree the Democratic voters need to get some new blood in there if they ever plan on winning elections again."
Also couldn't agree more.

"And by new blood I don’t mean people like AOC."
On this one we're just going to have to agree to disagree.

Do you really think AOC is a quality candidate to lead the Democratic party?

Yes.

Ackman: ‘Democratic Party Needs a Complete Reboot,’ ‘A Lot of People Need to Resign in Disgrace’

Hedge fund manager Bill Ackman said Wednesday on “World According to Boyar” that the Democratic Party needed “a complete reboot” to the point leadership should resign.

Host Jonathan Boyar said, “I mean, where do the Democrats go from here?”

Ackman said, “They really put themselves in a hole. Democratic Party needs a complete reboot. The problem is that leadership and people in power generally don’t like to give up power. But this is a case where a lot of people need to resign in disgrace. Party needs a complete reboot. They continue to double down on all of the mistakes and policies that were made before.”

He continued, “If I were a member of the Democratic Party, the leadership, I would be saying we love this effort to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse in our government. DOJ is great. We just want to make sure there are some checks and balances. Please keep us informed as opposed to marching and opposing and telling staff members not to respond to emails, stuff like that. That’s just sort of one of many. I don’t think of myself ever really as a member of a party. I don’t think of myself as a member of the Republican Party. I have had to check a box in order to vote in New York City on occasion.”

Ackman added, “But, you know, I’ve always been kind of a centrist. I like to vote for people I think who are the best candidates regardless of political affiliation. But the Democratic Party has not done itself a service in the last four years and probably longer than that. In terms of the best candidates.”
