Racing is racing. Not sure I need noise to enjoy racing. Don't get me wrong, the revs help. But racing is what I love, not necessarily the sound, or lack thereof.
I go to races to hear the chainsaw guy, so when the bikes are electric it'll be sweet to not have the chainsaw noise masked by the bikes.

Total snoozefest. Nothing but the sound of chain slapping.
The sound, the smell...not just the sights, complete the sensory experience.
I'm out at that point.....the sport has already deviated too much from what it was.
The day that the pits are louder from generators than the actual racing itself, I'm done spending my hard earned dough attending pro SX/MX races.
In the earliest days of peewee racing, the parents were faster and made more noise than the kids on the track. That was quality entertainment.
