Didn't Travis have a deal in place and supposedly "done" that fell through?
During that time word was out he had a deal as well as he refused a few rides because of it?

Was SX only his idea or the teams ?

If I remember right, Kevin is doing the whole SX season and select Nationals (on the torco honda). I would love to see him compete this whole year with some new found confidence on ANY bike.

I think Gibbs Racing will sign a top five SX class rider or maybe even a lites stud, the team obviously has the money to do whatever they want so I don’t think they will waste their time with a has been or a so-so rider. It will be interesting and fun to see who they sign. Realistically it could be anybody!

Im sure both those guys are under contract for the rest of the year.

IMO the smartest move would be to put Gracyk on the roster. He was "on the gas" last year, and will no doubt come out swinging in the outdoors again. Unless someone more high-profile had an SX only deal, my money is on GG.

I guess I was just saying that as a general statement and shouldn’t have quoted anybody. Is he really going to Australia this summer to race SX? I wish he would stay in the states and race the nationals! He has just as many fans here as he does across the pond!

He is racing in Aus because he is trying to get them a steady season I believe. And without his name it wouldnt do as well

shouldn't nathan ramsey's contract only be good for sx only, since he's on reed's team, and i think his contract will also be up at the end of the year, i think he's been showing some pretty good results this season

There's a friendship circle there, my opinion only, but Chad, Nathan and Larry are pretty tight, I am sure he (Nathan) was hand picked because he get's along with them, and when his contract comes up I wouldn't be surprised if he's signed again, he's been holding his own and doing a good job for the team, it's all about tv coverage right ?
