How much will the Ducati 450 cost

Too much.  Just like all new bikes.

Arlington at the TLD rig we spoke to a Texas Ducati sales rep for a while. Of course he wouldn’t give us hard numbers but he said the goal was a tiny bit cheaper than the KTM. After a little pressing he also revealed the 250 is close behind.

It’s even worse if they are wearing work boots!

The Desmo250MX will make its debut in 2 weeks with Lupino racing the MX2 Italian championship before going to MXGP in 2026.

A few bits regarding racing the 450 in the US: no decision yet on going full season in 26 or 27, riders will be chosen with TLD, Factory Connection will develop the Supercross bike, they intend to homologate the Desmo450MX in July 25 so Cairoli could theoretically race some Nationals this summer.

According to Enduro21, UK price would be £11,245, available from June.

That would be a smidge higher than comparable Euro bikes (£245 more than 450 SXF, £550 more than TF 450).

Desmo 450MX will be officially presented in its production version on April 3rd. Deliveries will begin in June in Italy, July in the US.

Desmo 250 starts racing this weekend in Italy.

According to MotoVerte, price in France should be around 12 600€, 150€ more than 450SXF.

How does that compare to other new 450s in Australia?

KTM 450 is 15905, Husky 16145, Yammy 15399

Seems like it will be cheaper than i thought when they announced this project. I was thinking they were going to price it close to 10% over the KTM/Husky.

It is a Ducati, so it’s not expected to sell en masse. A high price tag is expected.

Has anyone put a deposit on one yet?  I can see most dealers having a waiting list, like other ducati models
