I don’t wanna do economics but I went out the other day and the amount of people on old bikes, old trucks, and mismatch gear was insane. Over 70% of people ticked one of those boxes.

I will say the ketchup and mustard kit along with the mint chocolate chip were 2 of the worst designs/color combos but there have been other kits the last few years that have been top notch. Especially that black/grey/gold. That was clean as hell.

Oh I’ll be the first to admit, they can’t all hit the mark. As a group of designers, our team likes to push the edge and keep things interesting, but we need to be sure offer core designs that keep the brand on track for the bulk of riders.

That’s why I like my Fasthouse stuff. I can throw in my pair of black Fasthouse pants and then grab a handful of jerseys to take riding with me and all will match just fine. Nothing worse than putting a sandy, sweaty jersey back on in the humidity.
