I don't like to bag on people. But to me the Metal Mulisha is the Jersey Shore of motocross. A bunch of guys exaggerating who they are to make money. Some people may call that a sell out, but whatever I don't hate him or care either way... I can't take Deegan seriously though, I remember the dude wearing a pink headband at the races.

I think Linkogle was the "original" starter of it all, but Deegan stuck with it longer and made it bigger. That helmet logo came from some of Slayers old album artwork. And like someone said earlier this week, Deegan is probably a share holder to the company still but the brand was sold to La Jolla group a while back.

Ive said it before many times: I don't like Deegan or the whole corny MM deal BUT Deegan is either a marketing genius or close to one. People are buying his ship up faster than Wal-Mart etc can stock the shelves. Respect for finding a niche and filling it! I wish I would have been the one to have realized that killer skullz where what the kiddies and rednecks wanted!!

Well he may have thought of the idea of the MM, but I seriously doubt he makes many business decisions. My guess is the MM line is managed by a business management company.

He does however manage to keep himself in the lime light, even if its in douchey way.

I think a lot of it is for the sake of the image of the company. When I worked at FMF years ago I would get him his parts that he needed a lot of the times he came in. He was always a really nice and respectable guy......so I'm sure a lot of it is for "the show"
