The real question, does motohoser still wear dresses?
There are substantially more parts that make up a Harley Davidson motorcycle than a freakin' radiator hose.
You've always been very vague about this which tells me all I need to know.
If the hoses were truly "Made in the USA", you wouldn't simply quit labeling them as such over a few message board knuckleheads. I believe that you misunderstood the labeling requirements and then tried to go all "Homer in the bushes" about it.
I seem to recall him admitting that he purchased the hoses from a Chinese manufacturer then he "molded" them in his manufacturing facility (garage). Then he packaged them in the same "facility" and shipped from there. He felt like that met the "made in the USA" requirements.
I asked because I clearly don’t know. I drive a semi for a living because I’m stupid. To answer your question though, yes, I actually thought “made in the USA” meant as it said, 100%. Assembled in the USA is a different thing. I didn’t realize you could have a portion made overseas and claim it at USA made. Sorry for being stupid and asking for clarification.

I know, and have hung out with, all the characters of this Western Drama that is a Radiator Hose version of Tombstone…
Any one of whom is welcome to correct me if I’m wrong…because, I actually like all you goof-balls…with the exception of the multi-screen-name lying POS (who was just recently caught in here AGAIN being his stupid assed lying self).
Back in the Day (©️ Erykah Badu), Moto Hose had their radiator hoses made in China and had their over-flow and vent hoses made in the U.S.A.
As such, they were able to meet the U.S. trade regulation content levels enough to say “Made in the U.S.A.” Some variation of this “content argument” is at the core of this whole Made in the USA/Not Made in the USA drama…again, this is all off the top of my head…
At that time a certain multi-screen-named dude form around here had a forum/small internet fruity-little-club (let’s call it a private forum), where he (multi-screen-name dude) played the roll of Jack Ruby, and most of this “Made Where-ever” info had been shared and understood there-in. Some of the members openly had issues with where something is actually…truly… made…and they let Hoser know this…quite a bit. It was kinda funny at the time…even-though it got personal.
Well, things escalated and lots of shit was tossed around and by the St Louis round back in whatever year…it had escalated to a rather high and entertaining level. Btw, ‘twas a great race at STL and a great night hitting “Bars in the Alley” …iykyk.
Since then, multi-screen-name-guy nuked his fruity little club, complete with one of his many manifestos, and…also since then… the details of Dirty versus Hoser seem to come back to life every now and then…this is all since the implosion of…

But, I digress…and I apologize…in advance…for anyone that’s upset by my clarifications…except that lying-multi-screen-named-manifesto-boy. Outside of that, all manifesto crafting and multiple screen-name posting POS’s know where to find me…and that’s if they ever grow or add a pair of balls to their lying manifesto writing asses.
But, I digress.
Mea culpa.
See you at the races.
Wait, who's this multi-screen-name guy that keeps getting kicked out? J. Sloan??
Can I ask what percentage of your product is made in the USA, and which parts specifically? There isn’t much there, really. Is it the hose? Is it the bag it’s packaged in? Is it the cardboard attached to the bag? Is it just the clamp?
Thank you.
I dont care where they are made just like I didnt care back when round one of this subject went on for weeks. The bottom line is that they are quality hoses for a fair price so I have no problem buying them.
You're in for a fun afternoon if you're replacing the T-hose...
Replaced my hoses with Samco, no complaints
I’m just curious, that’s all. As I said prior, I’ve bought sets from him before and probably will again.
See how he could easily just unequivocally state where they’re made but instead just abandons the thread while still posting in others?
To the person that said they don’t care where they’re made, I don’t think anyone would really care except that to lie about it for marketing purposes is/was/would be disingenuous.
this is where most of us were on the issue. If he had never said "Made in the USA" no one would have cared. Most of us ride Japanese or Austrian bikes anyway. It's the misrepresentation of where it's made that ruffles feathers.
The issue is making a false claim as to where they are made versus just being honest or not even addressing it. I doubt anyone would care where they are made to be honest.
