Cold, bitter, and with another guy's dick in it?

I kid.... I kid. Good morning, Manny.

My coffee is a Cheater’s Bulletproof…I add honey…which is “cheating”!

Lattes.   We have so many good coffee spots here, Starbucks can fuck right off.

Marjorie from GA doing their best to shit all over another thread.  Simply stunning how infatuated you are with sexual orientation and transitioning.

My favorite Seth post…ever.

There’s a local drive-thru in Minden, NV that’s called Coffee on Main…it’s one of those places that reminds us that Starbucks is the 7-11 of coffee

Sub the sugar & cream for a splash of oat milk & ice and you've got my drink of choice.

Haha of coarse Oat milk. Id have thought you were full soy boy judging by your Low T.
Either way theyre oily emulsion that have little of the named ingredient in them at all.

Back in the day when I was killing myself running all day I'd drink the strongest coffee I could find with waaay too much sugar. Sometimes I'd make something like Zehn's redeye and dump a packet of instant hot chocolate in with like four sugars.

Nowadays I just prefer a good cup of black coffee, usually a lighter roast. Tea is okay too, tough to find a good proper cup around here, though.

They opened a Dutch Bros. coffee shop by my house a couple of years ago.

I decided to give it a try one day. Pulled up to the speaker and ordered a coffee, black.

Silence on the speaker, then, you mean an Americano? No, black coffee.

Well, we don't have that here, sir.

WTF, man? It says "COFFEE" on your sign!

Haven't been back.

The wife and I recently grabbed an espresso maker (we were spending too much money on coffee... though I do love the ritual of going to get a morning coffee to start the day).

Best part was, I emailed my favorite coffee shop back home to see where they got their beans from since it's an hour away now, and they were nice enough to fill me in on where they get all their coffee. The upfront cost wasn't too bad and now I can get my favorite drink (an Americano with Oat Milk over ice) anytime of the day for pennies on the dollar.

That said, if anyone can recommend a good storage container to hold ground up beans in, I'm all ears. The container we're using dries them way too fast and I sure as shit ain't going to grind beans every morning.

If memory serves, yeah. It was a few years back, so it could've been Target or somewhere, but I'm pretty sure it was ALDI.

I was using a glass one, but I like not having to be delicate with the metal one.

I have this Stanley one for camping. That the handle folds back to stow it more compact and it is wider so I can stuff the bag of bean inside more easily.

Very cool. I have an ALDI near me and I like shopping there. Will look for that. Never ground my own beans before but I’m told the difference is significant.

It is a seasonal item as far as I know. One of those things they rotate onto the "whatever's lying in the warehouse" shelf, as I call it, every few months.

Grinding them by hand takes a minute, but my parents have an auto grinder for theirs that takes just a few seconds. I think it's worth it.

I went french press a while back though and I've never looked back. It's super simple with no filters or pods. If you've got beans, heat, and water, you're good to go. I'm a fan of low-tech simplicity. I've crushed beans in a mortar and pestle when I didn't have my grinder on hand, and it was just fine.

Cuss and discuss.

Next trip, ask for a “quad shot Americano”….
Thank me later. 😉
