Stop at McDonalds to get my guys some breakfast sandwiches this morning...Egg-Mc-this...Sausage-Mc-that...and the gentleman after me orders a "senior coffee"...and it's 95 cents...a small coffee...so, I think...let's try it..."senior coffee with 2 creamers, please"...95 cents.
1st off, their coffee is pretty good...aka, It Doesn't Suck.
2nd off, I haven't had a coffee for 95 cents...INCLUDING 7.25% SALES TAX!!!...in...well, I don't know...during the virus that shall not be named, I remember getting $1 coffees at McDonalds in Lone Pine...I'm thinking back in '21...?
So...compared to the white-cup with the so-called green mermaid (I think she's a WITCH!) on it for...wait, what's a "short" goin' for at Corporate Coffee Incorporated? $2-3 plus you get the great attitude from the pink-haired barrisatawhatevers when you're wearing any sort of red hat (Red Bull TLD GasGas in my case!)🤣
Yes Sir, McDonald’s has pretty good coffee and you wouldn’t expect it.
Mickey D's has become my on the road go-to. Pretty good if you're a no-frills cheap coffee kind of guy. 7-11 has or had one called Kona blend they cycled through once in a while that was really good too, been a long time since I've even set foot in one though.
Really like Pilot/Flying J’s grinder coffee. The Colombian and Sumatra are really good. Know light roasts are stronger, but I prefer the taste of dark roast.
