To be fair, I’m almost positive that Dan has not served in the military. I remember him saying it’s one of his biggest regrets. He has had family members who served though.
Regardless, he does have an extensive background in law enforcement. As mentioned, he is waaaaay more qualified for this than some of those DEI hires from Joe’s cabinet. He is a no BS guy and pull no punches. I’m sure there were a lot of folks in the DC area that didn’t sleep too well last night.

Literally nobody who spends the bulk of their career in the entertainment business talking about an industry is the most qualified person to be at the top of that industry. Everyone instinctively knows this about whatever field they're most well versed in but seems to not think it's true about any other industry.
Dating the stripper after your marriage falls apart usually doesn't lead to long, healthy, fruitful relationships. You can hate everyone who had all these jobs before, but appointing entertainers to the positions because their monologs give you warm self righteous feelings isn't really a solution to anything. If it's revenge you're after, so be it, but don't bitch and moan when these morons fail and the other side is an election away from giving it back to you.
It would be great if there were more than a handful of people who value both limited government and supreme competence but I guess I'm the only one...... if the ideas being promoted are so great, you could implement them in ways that will just show that to the masses over time, but instead this president and too many of his followers would rather have petty short term "wins" than bring any actual meaningful change to anything.
What you fail to recognize or maybe aren't smart enough to admit, is that you and your homies were the exact same way to anyone and everyone in the Biden administration.

The thing about it is if you believe the swamp has corrupted everyone from within leaving no redeemable voices you could promote, it means that the cool outsiders that you bring in are going to end up just as corrupted by the swamp. The difference will then be that you have a swamp creature with no institutional knowledge or experience that might have been beneficial towards bringing about change. You just have a less competent swamp creature.
The fact that this administration has made zero effort to find redeemable insiders who would know where the problems are and how to address them and has instead appointed a bunch of celebrities who kissed the ring should be a huge disappointment to people who claim to actually want to see things changed in a fundamental way.

He is no BS and pulls no punches in front of a camera and microphone. As an actual leader, what is his biggest accomplishment? What job has he performed well in that you can point to and argue that the things that made him successful there will translate to this? Be specific.
There are competent people out there who share the vision who would be so much better picks for all these jobs but they don't give Trump and his followers the warm fuzzy feelings so they don't even try to find them......
