Ok, have had Nationals at Whispering Pines (Kamloops), Prince George, Popkum and Nanaimo in the past. What changed?
I went to the last two in Kamloops and they can totally handle the capacity! Nanaimo is the one I went to growing up and they can handle the capacity aswell. I thought this year they were supposed to add a bunch of rounds
I guess the WSX kind of "trumps" the Nationals.
I don't think Popkum holds any races, Whispering pines closed last year when the club lost their lease, don't know much about Prince George other than it is a long way from the BC mainland to draw spectators and Nanaimo the ferry could be a deterrent for the teams possibly

Popkum couldn't hold the capacity and yeah, the ferry is a significant added cost to the budget. Team or privateer, its expensive.

From CMXU
- Quinn Amyotte out as a prospect on the Factory KTM 450.
- Rumoured retired US rider to take a return to moto for the KTM 450 seat - Any visibility as to who this is?
- Ryder Malinoksi slated to return to Canada for 2025 MX.
- Possible other US amateurs heading to Canada in 2025 for one off races.
Phil for factory KTM?
ML512 - any visibility on who the retired US rider is potentially going to KTM Canada for 450 MX.
Chad Reed im 👂
A-Mart retired and has a kid.
J-Mart was rumored for the 450 spot at Kawi. Nicoletti might come back up for Kawi.
Dylan Walsh is the 250 rider for Walton Kawasaki.
Zach Osborne has kids, but it didn't work to get him to ride for MX101. Can't see that changing.
Just re-listened to that part - correction to my initial post - it said " come and see a different part of the world and bring my family" not "kids".
I had commented that I thought it might be Musquin, but now the comment is deleted? Maybe I was right?
Baggett?
Anyone with visibility on this?
Seems odd the Marvin Musquin quote was deleted above.

Mav, don't you think Canada should hire Blair to replace these guys?
😉
Blair with Gauldy would be amazing honestly
i think the only reason Gauldy still announces was cuz hes always done it. much prefer other voices to his. Blair would be great, id even take JT$. he does well on the SX floor and MXGP when he joins in
v27 updated.

Awesome.
I saw that last night. Such a bummer. That place is beyond iconic.
That was down quick, whatever it was.
Philthy in for Walton Kawi.
