Why should we include Ukraine in the peace talks? This was basically a proxy war that the neocons wanted.
Zelensky was a product of regime change. He was put in place to do the neocons bidding, to be a thorn in Putins side and to open up Ukraine to foreign interests. Biden...Burisma? Ukraine rich with farm land and minerals? And for the military industrial complex to make money.
We told Russia years ago we would not include Ukraine in NATO and when it looked like we were going to renege on that promise Russia called our bluff.

I'll ask Ukrainians I work with. Last I heard was around 50%, which is less than 75% when he was elected. He did not run when russian specops were storming his building at the start of war. People still remember that.

Last election 2019. Supposed to have one March/April 2024. Didn't have one because Ukranian constitution prohibits elections during periods of martial law, which is extended in 90 day periods by Ukranian parliament and last approved there in February of this year until 9th of May. That law was passed in 2015, before Zelensky became president.
