Just wanted to announce the new addition to my family...on Thursday afternoon Violet was born 7 lbs 9 ounces...healthy as can be.

Don't worry I'm doing fine...oh, and so are mom and baby.

If I was tech savy enough, I'd post some pics...but...

Anyway, just thought you guys might have been missing me the past few weeks...between work, putting the nursery together, and rubbing my wifes feet, I haven't had much "play" time the past month or so (though I did manage one riding weekend to southern Utah/Mesquite Nevada).

Just kidding!

Try and keep her in the same routine...it might be hard for the first couple of weeks, but I will pay off in the end. Either that, or you just have a fussy baby and NO AMOUNT of rocking, patting, holding, or pulling your hair out will help!!! Good Luck!! <img class= " title="Wink">

Congrats to you both. Glad to hear all went well.

I found that copious amounts of cheap scotch helped me sleep in the infant days. Pissed the wifey off, but I slept like a...well, baby?

She is the March 24th posting on the blog titled "Violet"...if you scroll down the page to the Saturday March 8th posting called "cousins" you can see my oldest daughter, Hazel...shes in the pink with white stripes (the little boy is my brothers son, and the other girl-in purple with white dots-is my sisters daughter).
