He didn't tuck his ears in his hat correctly. It's a requirement.

OOPS!

I wasn't trying to post flamebait or anything... I was just going through my iTunes podcast list and saw that the titles of the show changed... I don't really have time to listen to that podcast link that the guy posted, so can someone just summarize it for me?

It's pretty simple actually. Steve brought Kenny Watson in as a guest host for a couple weeks and the listeners (me included) of the show really liked what Kenny brought to the table. Kenny is a no nonsense straight shooter who could give a fck what people think and that worked really well on the show. While Kenny was on the show Paul hated his style and the direction the show was going with Kenny on it so he left. Paul is a wishy washy kind of guy that works in the industry as an agent so in his mind he had allot to lose being honest about some things because he didn't want to piss people off. Which I kind of understand but at the same time I , like allot of people, didn't want to listen to some kiss ass report the news of the industry in a watered down (i dont want to piss anyone off) style. So Paul left and Kenny stayed and thank god for that.

I think Kenny said it best when Steve asked him about Paul the week after Paul left. Kenny said " The guys just a douche bag". Sorry paul937 but remember factorypilot asked and I'm just quoting Kenny. No offense sir..

I see I see... thanks for the breakdown of it all DanDunes.
I agree with what you are saying about Paul being an agent and has to keep some cards close to the chest.

Watson is a great fit for the show.

There are people that dont give a shit about moto, dont know about moto, but they listen to the moto show after I let everyone listen to that Pellegrino show..........

All everyone does is do Pellagrino quotes now.

Waaa Waaaa Waaaa

That episode is pure gold. Not sure anything will touch that one.

Go Regal!

Yeah. I, as a fan of the sport, want to listen to guys that don't have an agenda that includes not pissing anyone off. I want to hear real people telling me what they really think and not watering it down so to please people. That's exactly what you get with Steve and Kenny. More so Kenny of course. I think that is why they are such a good mix. Matthes will let Kenny say things he can't get away with saying sometimes. Kenny just 100% could give a fck what anyone thinks and that my friends is good radio.

As a person I'm sure Paul is a pretty good dude but just not a good radio host.

i really like the show but can't help but notice DMXS have skipped a few shows since the Pulp Show has been getting more popular. I hope its just a coincidence and isn't affecting their motivation cause they are both awesome. Hope BOTH of them keep cranking out such good weekly shows.

You can't beat sitting on a train computing to work on a train full of zombies zoning out and nerding out on motocross in your own little world! Well, you can beat it, you could be out at the beach or riding, but definitely makes my daily commute more bearable.

Dan,

I agree with you. It's refreshing to have a guy who doesn't have to suckhole to the industry talking about the sport. The sport is small and incestuous. Nice to hear a guy say a track is shit or a some one's an asshole.

One thing I noticed is that he knew that John Tomac was a national x-country mountain bike racer and knows how to train! Not many people know that. Of course, I'm talking about John Tomac - Eli Tomac's dad. John Tomac was a national mountain bike champion.

Do you seriously think that not many people know that, or are you just dicking around?

Just FYI, the missed shows have been because Kevin was going through the whole process to become a fireman, and now has a job as one.

I don't know paul from anyone else and no disrespect, but in my opinion Paul was extremely boring to listen to. He was just waaaaaaay to serious. I know he made comments about how he wanted a more serious show, but you can only be so serious before you become boring on monotone. I can't think of a successful sports talk show host that doesn't interject some personality or comedy into their show.

Loosen up a bit Paul!

Not bad.....It's unfortunate that he doesn't have anyone around him that knows about training though.
