Webb was only like 4 seconds down at the end of the 3rd race and Eli and Chase were pushing each other.. he also held off the fastest guy the last two years. Id say Webb speed is just fine and his race craft is better that Eli or chase combined. You cannot discount webb. The last time Webb won a title Eli was probably faster but he followed Webb around half the season unable to pass him.

I'm saying all this and I'm a huge Tomac fine.

Maybe send him an email (copy/paste) telling him you are going to be there and see what happens. Couldn't end any worse that it did for Ricky.

Wtf are you even talking about? Email who? And how does Ricky figure into this?

Evidently you know all about his racing ability but little about what he said on the Podium.

I wrote out a big ole post for you then erased it.  I don't have the time not the inclination to get into a forum argument with you. I've watch so many others in sooo many other threads do and it looks exhausting.  I shouldn't even be typing this. I'm wasting time at the track with my grandson. I won't comment again. We got back out to ride now Have a good day sir!

I’d say Jett has joined the Knee Club.  You don’t want to be part of the Knee Club, you are a life long member and there is no way out.

Not to derail the thread but permanent/chronic injuries and illnesses terrify me.

if you could do any exercise or anything you have learned after injury, what would you implement beforehand to prevent it?

Blown them both. Fixed one. Living with the other one. People might be surprised to learn that after a few hours the swelling and the pain goes down after a couple of days.  It feels perfectly normal. Run etc. But if you catch it wrong you'll know instantly that your knee is effed up with worst pain ever. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. I wonder if Jett already had a knee issue that had not been reported.

#1 - I wouldn’t have worn Scott boots…

#2 - strength train legs-build serious quads and hamstrings.  I had the small waist, skinny legs (endurance) build and that is ripe for knee injuries in our sport.

Not to fully discount Lars, but we’re talking about a freak of nature with super strong leg muscles. He will for sure have a strong base but that much instant pain is not a good sign for no damage to a ligament or cartilage.

I wouldn't interpret that as 'no damage'. More as ' jets a freak of nature and might be able to ride through the damage, since itnseems stable and that makes itbkess likely to be a total tear or have collateral damage'

It will be a really tough decision for Jett to make if he's going to try and ride through it. I gave racing a go after I tore my ACL and the extreme pain from when my knee shifted was too much for me to handle that I had to get it repaired.

But Jett is on another planet for athleticism that maybe could make it work. I hope for his sake for a miracle that it's not something major.

It's a special club when you starting referring to it as "my good knee" in conversations. If you know you know lol

I just don't see him having the speed to run with ET and Chase the rest of the season. Anytime ET is behind Webb he gets by him pretty easy and drops him. The same thing happened last night in the 2nd heat. I will be in Tampa next weekend so it should be interesting.

Bra, did you get the message from Coop yet?

Two things. FIRST—Ditto on Scott boots. If I’d known I never would have bought a pair.  Main reason for my ACL. Second, I rode 8 years without an ACL. Don’t do it. Get it fixed ASAP.
