These are trickle-down 2024 numbers. Trump’s election may have had a minuscule impact, but what generated those returns started months before. And resulted despite Biden’s attempts to do otherwise. The economy has been and always will be greater than the presidency.

The real economy is deader than in 08.  No freight loads won’t even cover fuel cost . Yet operating cost at extremely high.  I made 41.60 Thursday wed night into Thursday morning constant thunder & lightning storm . Haven’t seen rain since sept . Narrow lane rd was under water countless phone calls . I called the police to get info on the opening. An officer came out he,s he graduated from hs in 89.  I heard the story of a 30+ yr officer. People hv really lost there minds there sooo broke.  Try to unld at another place where they do manufacturing of electrical trailers.  A cute chic was an electrician , she make 22 an hr .  All trucking is below  1971 wages some days below 1948 wages.  Waiting in a alley in W. Va. Yo get loaded going to Wi. Where it’s below zero , no co wants to go there because you break down in the cold.  Notice Feb of 2021 freight crashed & it got worse every yr. To now that’s the Real economy.  I want to prove a point on how bad trucking wages r . By making more money on a 21 yr old 125 than any trucking job.  Actually this will b easy to do. Being a Profeshenal 125 rider and all. Haha .  A lot of delays r because of LAZY warehouse workers .  Like a 23 hr Unld at a Walgreens dc .  Really 23 hrs I did ovr 30 world record pipelines under rivers 72 in id 7,800 ft etc.  but a 1/2 full trl takes 23 hrs ???.  Dumb asses ovr loaded the front ovr weight.  

We haven’t hired anyone in the last 4 years. Jan hit and we hired 1, interviewing another Monday.

That's the most wild thing in here, the inability to respond to a thought that's different.  The canned response is take your pick of 1)You can'T makE thiS shiT UP, 2) you have TDS , etc.   You have said plenty I disagree with and vice versa but you have the balls to back it up like an adult.

Like I've been saying for months...these numbers seem screwy to me and inconsistent with other economic reports (and nevermind the almost certain revisions in coming months, and that this report is heavily influenced by census data...yes, census data...is factored into these projections...) So time will tell if this is real or not.  The market is liking the news though...so there's that.

Years back I took my Trump tax savings and hired 6 people.  As the Biden Admin fuckery really began to peak, they were all slowly let go between 2022-2024
As soon as the election passed in early November, a number of my investors were ready to rock again because a Trump presidency restored their confidence. So we began hiring in December to get ready.

33 loads available on a Friday ?  Ohio,Indiana, Michigan,iL. Wi. Which has been the highest  paying for months  but not great,  Mn. & Iowa.  Most of the manufacturing is done in these states .  Not 1.3 + million loads like in 2020.  The poor areas of Ohio coming up 52,823,23 35 wow broke down cars everywhere.  Massive amount of white collar Eastern Europeans coming to America daily.   I told dispatch today time to park the trucks. And start a tree trimming buisness or a small utility co .  In November I was thinking what was I doing in 2016. Rail yards Chicago u do that in a bad economy. Tore my Achilles in Feb 2018 same job.  Then tried regional tanker then reefer & dry van jobs all dead.  Tariffs killed the rail freight.  No choice but to hit the oil fields in W. Tx. The hot bed.  3 jobs fell threw like they do there, everyone has 3 jobs lined up but when u get there they hv no work or a job. I trsted& hauled crude oil , no I didn’t make 4,500 a week as promised. I made 400-600 . Tried pneumatic tanker frac sand that’s worse.  Tv was saying where the biggest oil producing country in the world.  True there is enough oil in W.Tx. To power the world 10k yrs , according to engineers that hv 30+ yrs experience there.  But they where capping wells .  Why is GAS so high ?  It’s 3.24 in Indiana. It should be.79 .  BP bought out TA truck stops not sure about Petro .  BP on the buy out day said do inventory & raise prices.  I said your mud flappers r 7 bucks more than other ts.  The manager told me this.  Not making enough money off the gas stations . I see people driving much slower , less gas sold.  Easy to gauge prices at a ts.  Only thing according to the bean counters a mega carrier to show an increase is, BEER .  Good old drunk America. The new  Red white &  blue beer plant in Cal. Is having manufacturing problems. Could this b because there is no water ?  Not sure if it’s going to stay open.  Just trying to warn the blue ribbon drinkers in the West.
