Anything that was weak and holding the zook back in stock form has been addressed on every level on that bike. It’s arguably one of the best starting platforms as any of the main brands when it comes to handling.

If they’d have just stuck a damn E-start on it 5 years ago and just made small improvements every year it’d be one of the best bikes you could buy stock.

What kind of question is this? Who has the red plate in the most stacked field ever? lmao

Having a starter is only a benefit if you stall in a race. The rest of the time it is a bunch of extra weight.

Plot twist, the slower bike actually helped him with traction on the slick track.

So is a kick start lever. Point is...bike's stall. Ask Kenney or Sexton and see who it affected most.

It's interesting because he's on an old platform and Jett is on a brand-new one. I think the big difference for Kenny is there really is not the pressure of past years when he was expected to win. I think that's making a difference in his riding.

If he loses the championship because one round he stalled the bike and couldn't start it then yes, but you only have to watch the MXoN where Kenny holeshotted the best works bikes in the world and went on to win the open class, the bike is more than capable.

Even better, he won the MXGP class

The only way Kenny can win is if others have problems. Straight up against Eli or Jett, not gonna happen. He needs to be riding his absolute balls out best to beat Ando and the other factory guys. Roczen shows flashes of brilliance over the past few years, but not over an entire season.

We aren't talking about the championship

I often wonder what some of the factory guys would think if they rode Kenny’s bike. Maybe they take it a few laps and gel with it more than their factory bike. I think we’ve this conception that factory is so much superior, but is it? Imagine Eli for example, retires at the end of this year and instead of taking an ambassador role somewhere, he just goes rouge and rides all the factory/top level manufactured bikes and reviews them. I’d watch that.

It’s not holding him back, the Honda the last couple years was holding him back if anything. E start yeah maybe, every week there’s someone that crashes and e start literally takes longer than kicking, see Jordan smith last Saturday

You're right, Anderson also did well on the new slower KX450

I ride one, all the need to do in my opinion is put the KYB shock on it from the RMZ 250.  Yeah, eStart would be nice, but it isn't really that big of a deal.  You can always throw a Rekluse in there for racing and not worry having to kick it mid race.
