Just curious how you use you fingers on the levers. Always hold one finger over the lever, only when needed, two fingers.

Seems like I’m struggling with arm pump and hand strength anymore. Don’t know if it’s my age or new bike or both now.

I've always kept my middle finger on the levers at all times.  Was told it was bad technique, but not having a finger on them felt like even worse technique.  Now its become the "new" technique.

If you watch, Sexton basically grips the bars and doesn’t keep any fingers on the levers. He’s attributed this to stalling the bike relatively often. Tomac calls this “suicide style” and keeps his fingers on the levers. Idk if there is any real right way since the top of our sport have differing methods.

Moto is definitely where I’m struggling with my grip. I’ve always been a one finger on both guy in the woods but honestly this moto thing is new to me too.
Edit: I have always kinda been curious if this was carried over from the two stroke days when a lot more clutch action was in play compared to the modern day thumpers.
