It always amazes me how some of the most successful people are terrible at writing. I work with doctors and lawyers on a daily basis, and their grammar is terrible. I personally learned how to write more efficiently and effectively in community college, and once I transferred to a university, I was writing better than a lot of my peers. To this day, I recommend taking a couple of English and communication courses at local community colleges. Proper writing seems to be a lost art, though.

It amazes me too. If I ever had to hire an agent who was responsible for negotiating on my behalf I'd want someone who was at least capable of articulating themselves. A pretty basic requirement I'd say.

Same here 😂

Put yourself in his shoes. Whether we know anything or not. Lets take his at face value and he's innocent. I still wouldn't be posting online before seeing a lawyer or judge.. So something is fishy about this deal and it stinks like guilt.

If I got accused of something like this, publicly like he did, I would think I'd at least say something along the lines of "These accusations are entirely false and I am taking the appropriate steps to defend myself. Thank you for the support"

Pretty easy, you'd think...

Your version has complete sentences, good grammar, is brief and stays on point.  Completely inconsistent with the type of people who do press releases on IG.

Sorry, but this just show you have no life experience.

You think capability to earn big money is in any way connected to how you can spell? 😂

Just way to many people here showing their limited capabilities when a thing like this comes up.

Yes, but who brokered the deal? I’m trying to understand when Lucas got involved.

I appreciate this information, but again, I’m trying to figure out who, if anyone, helped the family with closing the deal. The guy at Kawasaki was sitting on the opposite side of the table; if Mr. Lawrence negotiated by himself, great. Just trying to understand when Wasserman and Mirtl entered the picture.

I'm pretty sure Mirtl didn't come into the picture until a couple of years after the Kawi deal in 2015.  First mention of him and the Lawrences - from a quick google search - is Hunter thanking him for working on the Geico Honda deal in 2018.

I would too. But his responses have been completely unintelligible. Impossible to figure out what his defense might be.

It feels like Wasserman was like "the guy is a clown, can't write and isn't professional but is making us millions so we will look the other way".

Honestly, i can see the Lawrences pulling this rug pull. Why donthey need Mirts anymore.
I can see a scenario of Mirts stiffening them on the sly as well.

In time, the truth will present itself in half-facts enough to paint a picture we can get across.

Ben Townley helped get them to Europe, the Lawrences would never release a statement like this without being 100% certain. The stakes are way to high to be wrong.

Thanks for doing the Google search. Correct me if I’m wrong, but did the Geico deal start with interest in Hunter, but they agreed to take on younger brother as a package deal? If so, that turned out to be a good deal. Wonder if that was negotiated by Wasserman/Mirtl?

Anytime in business I have been involved with or in the periphery of a legal dispute, the outward public message to people was carefully crafted something similar to the following (I'm paraphrasing).  "The accusations are baseless and I'm/we're not getting involved in public back and forth on the accusations.  This has been turned over to the attorneys to resolve and the truth will eventually be revealed and the dispute resolved." Going on a social media account with a poorly written (regardless of the reason why) word salad isn't helping anyone.  After reading that, my first two thoughts were "how did this guy become a successful agent for 2 of the most popular and talented riders in SX/MX?", and secondly "what were the Lawrences thinking of hiring this guy in the first place for such a prominent role, judging by his decision to put that out on social media?".  All parties look bad.

Take the high road and let the attorney's settle it.

I don’t buy this was planned and conspired. This is the worst timing for all this to come out, two rounds into the season. Not the distraction the boys want or need.

Would seem it was done out of necessity. Unless they had to jump the gun and get ahead of something bigger.

Lucas doesn’t need to know how to construct coherent sentences to be successful. But damn he should know there are tools available that can do it for you in minutes. This looks terrible for him right now.

There is something honest about poor grammar…. I work with some nufties who can’t spell or can barely string a sentence together when talking. But then I read their performance review, and it is a 500 word response to a simple straightforward question, that’s sounds like something a Harvard philosopher would write, I shake my head…..thanks chat gpt.

That goes without saying. The OP wanted to know if Mirtl was involved in the Europe deal in any way - specifically whether he was dealing with Kawi Europe. I'm not certain but pretty sure he wasn't.  As I've said he came in a couple of years or more later.

Yaa I’m pretty sure it was a sign Hunter to a pro deal, but you gotta do something with Jett too or it would’ve been a no go. I know it’s been said that PC missed out on them, maybe it was because Mitch couldn’t make a amateur to pro deal happen for Jett? Jett was 14 and the youngest in the class when he won a few motos and an overall in EMX250 on a Suzuki I believe so it was probably an easy thing for Geico to do.

Hahha, I agree. Same goes with the field I'm in (software industry), the better crafted and more polished the wording usually the crappier product. It's almost like offsetting the shitty product with all fancy marketing jargon.

I understand the Larry’s and concerns over embezzlement, I go through this each month. Then I string it together and realize it’s just Amazon Prime, Netflix, Max, Disney +, Hulu, Slacker app, Google drive, Imusic, iCloud, FMF Drop subscriptions

That's exactly how it is. All the theoretical desktops guys on here don't understand that people being extremely good at one or two things, typically mean they are not as good as other things.

So great, you prefer a English teacher over a sales guy. Good luck in life 😄
