I can't seem to find the thread but a couple of you guys mentioned changing the two engine bolts on the new gen KTM chassis made a noticeable handling difference. I ordered some back in November and finally got them yesterday, there were on back order and then was shipped UPS/USPS sure-post so it took about 6days for them to show up vs 2 days with normal UPS. The guys at Race Tech were pretty good on customer service, I had to call once and email once to get an answer on what was going on.

Anyway, hopefully the guys that posted in that other topic will see this one. I did use red grease on them to prevent galling and torqued to 34ft/lbs. I hope to ride this weekend to see if I notice any difference, I'm somewhat sensitive to changes on a bike in regards to suspension clickers, now whether or not I notice these ti bolts vs stock is another story. They weren't terribly expensive, I think they were $70ish shipped. Figured I would give them a try and see.

Stock left vs ti.

I would think the engine hangers would make a more noticeable handling change. I put the powerparts hangers on my 350, they were only 60-75$ , honestly I don’t notice much of a difference but I”m mostly in deep sand down in Florida so its hard to feel minor handling changes….I have a hard pack track back in NY that I can swap back & forth to see if I can feel any difference….I”m thinking guys want to soften the harshness out of the chassis, if yiu feel harshness? This may not be needed on a sand track…glad I didn’t spend 300+$ on FCP engine hangers, I would have felt like it was a waste of $….If yiu can feel the difference between Ti engine mount bolts & stock, yiu are a better test rider than me! But those Ti bolts are sweet👍

Please update us with how thoughts!  I put the split engine hangers on my '23 450 and noticed a difference.  I missed the thread mentioning changing the engine bolts.  Curious what your feedback will be.

Ti is worth the money alone on an Austrian bike so the fasteners don’t look like the bike was submerged in a salt marsh for a month. I can’t stand whatever plating they use from the factory.

Agreed

Pretty much galvanized coating on the OEM bolts.

The stock coating is about on par with this -

Rode about 2hrs yesterday, honestly couldn't tell much if any difference. I agree with what others said, money would have been better spent on hangers and not the frame bolts. If anyone wants them I'll sell them cheap.

This is them but they also fit KTM and most likely GG bikes also. I have them on a 24 KTM.
