A2 mudder?

Yeah, I’m hearing biblical amounts of rain. 

For me it shows rain starting at 4PM on Sunday, not Saturday. 

Not opposed....

A little diversity through the season is a good thing. 

I’m more worried about the SRA Sunday 😂😂😂😂

But yeah I see no rain til Sunday morning 12 am

Screw that. 2025 needs to be a years worth of dry races. Mud races blow. 

It's creeping into the forecast so we'll see what happens.  We haven't had any rain this year yet...La Nina.  Maybe not a mudder, but could be greaser. 

I’m not against mud races, its cool to have like 1 per season (even tho its honestly pretty boring racing with everyone rolling everything with their feet out), but after last year Id like to see a long stretch of dry races. We had like 10 mudders last year lol. Too much. Id be cool with us not having another mudder for a long time.

I agree, but have to think about landslides/mudslides at this point with little vegetation to keep it in place. But, from the photos, not much more damage can be done. 

We definitely don't want a lot of rain right now, just some scattered showers to lay down the flames/ambers.  A hard rain will be more destructive with mudslides and tons of toxic debris flowing into the Ocean.  Light showers would be nice for awhile while the cleanup begins.

It's looking like we have more than a 50% chance of light showers for A2 right now.  We'll see if it holds.

SRA in the rain is better than anything!

lol yeah but sometimes they cancel! I'm fine with riding in the Mud. I'll be there regardless of conditions.

I have raced some gnarly SRA mudders at GH. Not in a long while though.

I hope it doesn't  rain.  I would like to watch a SX race this weekend.

That’s not cloud seeding…

What is it?

That's just a regular condensation trail from a plane. Cloud seeding happens above or within clouds that are nearing rain and the spray doesn't look like that. If you think about it, you need to seed something on the top of it. If you seed below it.. well the “seeds” would just fall to the ground. You can't really see the particles once they are sprayed and dispersed since they happen above or within the rain cloud and it’s a much more finer mist.

Cloud seeding works by making dust in a potential rain cloud so that the rain droplets have some place to start and therefore generate rain sooner. The limitation however is that this can only be done with clouds which are already close to raining. They can't generate moisture out of dry air. So cloud seeding is not exactly making clouds or rain but rather just forcing the existing rain to fall a bit earlier. If you look at that photo, theoretically that would a huge amount of seeding going to waste, not to mention it doesn’t look like that.

last year we raced 1 pretty good mudder. maybe 2. They did cancel 1 round.

A2 seems like there is a solid chance of rain.

every time i see this in Australia, it rains for 2-3 days or at least overcast.

It seemed like we went from mudder to mudder multiple times last year…. But I don’t mind one occasionally.  It’s an additional talent/skill that I like to see.

But this doesn’t look like mudder weather to me.  This just looks like cold and damp…

I don't care if it rains before the race, during the race, or after the race, just please fucking rain
