Man, something isn't working for the Nickster. If James, Tedesco and Langston were still in there, he'd be way down at the bottom of the list. What's up with that? I love his style, I'd sure like to see him back in there mixing it up.

The main problem for Nick is that KTM NA doesn't care about SX/MX they are still using Jon Pentons mentality that off road is more important to bike sales, so they considerate on the WORCS , Enduro & woods guy's & left the SX/MX to be farmed out to whoever. I'm not saying anything bad about MDK, but it's only there first year with the KTM's & it will take time.

So the KTM is still setup like a European GP bike & that just doesn't work in supercross, If they would get some of the real factor stuff for suspension & some one that knows the WP suspension better, Nick would do better.

Plus the way the a KTM handle's is very different then any of the Japanese bike do & ti's take a lot of getting used too.

alessi did alright on the KaTooM's... i think wey is not used to the ktms yet...

He's Wey off the pace.

Is it the bike? No.

Ricky, James, and Chad could all win on it I bet. MC...ha! He was on his wey...errr, way out anyways. He used the bike as an easy excuse.

The KTMs are a package with a lot of potential, but some guys have a lot of trouble adapting to them. Plus the KTM 450SX is completely unproven in supercross, and its telling that there is only one out there every week. Wey, Supercross and this KTM are just not meshing right now.

I think he will turn it around and have one of the best seasons of his career outdoors. The KTM is at no disadvantage there whatsoever.

I was out at an offroad park yesterday, and there were more KTMs there than any other brand. The trails were full of them. But a bike that works good in the woods wouldn't be so good in SX. MX = OK, SX = NO.

BTW, riding a 500 in the woods was a blast. Gearing was a little high but very, very fun.

Funny how all the KTM guy's get so butt hurt cause their color won't work for SX. They aren't that great in MX either, but they are better there .

Sam when you gonna let me chase you in the woods? You missed one awesome race at Powell Ranch. I was sick with the damn flu so my lap times were crap, but was great fun for sure. Did you go to the National Forest?

No, Steve and I joined the Outlaw deal, and we spent Sunday out there. Lots of fun, that's the first time I've ridden since I hurt my back trying to get ready for the first Torcs. It felt OK yesterday, pretty stiff today, so it's a lot better.

Come to Outlaw sometime and you can get all the woods riding you'd ever want. Lots of fun.

Im very familiar with that place. About 8 years ago (before there was that club out there) I was working with GB Williams about hosting scrambles on that property, gorgeous place for sure. Let me know when I came come ride if you have a guest pass and I will be there.

Depending on the weather, we hope to go out there this Friday or Saturday, and I'm sure we'll be going out there a lot - keep in touch and we'll get together out there. Fun place, and we were there all day Sunday without seeing a single ambulance or life flight helicopter...

I think Reed may disagree with that comment about the yamahas being better than hondas.
