Who will make the best transition to 450's next year in SX?A lot of rider's move up and can't get it done. Some just Ride a 450 better.

Wiemer-consistent top ten's but win?

Canard-Winning one not out of the question .

Pourcel-Probably be in the title hunt.

Hanny-?

I'm sure there's more.

Did anyone else see what he did on the 450 in sx?
5/6 podiums if my memory serves me right.

I think Pourcel will come out and immediately contend for top 5 positions and podiums. I see Weimer struggling through some issues and having a mixed season. I don't see Canard winning one, top eight, a few top fives, and possibly a podium. Hanny is going to rip if he can stay up, top 5 threat week in week out.

On a side note. I don't get the Canard love, the praising jesus and being one of the guys most willing to put a rider down just doesnt sit right with me. I know, I know a man's faith doesn't have anything to do with the level of intesity with which he races. Just kinda bothers me

I'm a big fan of Canard, but I think CP will be just a little faster.

I think Pourcel's gonna turn alot of heads, and has a real possibility to finish the season with a number 1 plate. Couldn't hurt knowing who he'll be riding for, either.

If Pourcel can get a good ride he feels comfortable on, he will be tough.

I agree with the first sentence. I don't have the "insider" info you have though on the 2nd.

I guarantee Jake will transfer well...

He doesn't ride the 250 through sheer agression, he is a smart rider, with a great riding style and good throttle control... Stands a lot too... He'll be great on the 450!

So you can't be aggressive and be christian?

I don't think I'm that one that makes that call. What I'm saying is that bothers me that the guy known for thanking jesus on the podium is also known as a racer willing put another racer down with overly aggressive moves. Just seems kind of counter intuitive to me.

Canard will do very well in the 450 class based upon his results this year. 5 podiums in 6 rounds isn't luck or lack of depth in the class. As to him being an agressive rider. What is wrong with being agressive? When did he intentionally put a rider on the ground?

I think he'll do well too, just not podiums right away. Nothing is wrong with aggressiveness. I can think of two guys that ride green bikes.

Canard already proved he could do it, but you never know about the rest until they get there. Who would have thought Lamson and Mike Brown would have the mediocre careers on the big bikes that they did. And look at Tedesco, figured he'd come on like gang busters but he's struggled big time.

Very true. I was willing to bet the farm on Tedesco
