If a rider needs some help to make it to a National or SX to try and "make it," that's understandable (within reason)

If a rider is down on his luck and needs help, that's understandable

But to expect people to kick money to a guy who's unemployed, not to help pay his mortgage or to put food on the table, but to help him ride?

Dude, is it me, or are those some really fucked up priorities?

Ask anyone, I have kicked money to people, given away tons of product and things for fund raisers and done far more than my share, and I am happy to do it....but this?

His bike needs to be put away, not ridden.

Is it safe to assume he has no insurance since he's no longer employed and so in need of funds? Then he shouldn't be riding.

You can't look for a job with a broken leg, he shouldn't be riding

Call me a dick if you want, but this is some fucked up priorities

Wow Kawi9....really? I don't have much but I do own everything in full minus about $2 on my truck left to pay off. I'll always help someone like Justin Weeks or Josh out because they try so hard....even did the 2 stroke challenge.....several riderdown donations...(usually only $15-50 each) but damn, you buddy should put the bike away or GET a job....dumbestshitever is riding without insurance. If he can't afford his bike is he affording insurance? For the simple ones.....you should have 15 months of reserve put away so if something like this happens you are not SOL.....

Whatever! I went to the UK for love, lost everything...my moto-job, friends, family, possessions.

Came back and no job, had to live at parents, no bike, could barely eat...

I manned up, pulled it together. Good job now, riding, enjoying life.

That's what America is all about.
