I didn’t see anyone bring this up in an older forum, but how long has progressive been a sponsor of HRC? I know they sponsored Kenny for the last couple of years (maybe also the rest of the HEP team, but I’m not sure), but for some reason I thought it was new to the HRC squad in 2025.
I see from last year’s SMX they were on the HRC graphics, but I don’t remember that at all. I feel like a big company like progressive would bring a lot of good money to the sport.
Also it’s kind of funny how a couple of years after GEICO pulled out from their Honda squad, now progressive is investing in HRC.
I was thinking after looking at Pit Bits - why can't Progressive work with some of these race tracks getting shut down?
I don't think Progressive does the style of insurance you need as a motocross track.
Ins companies about to take a huge hit - will be interesting to see if affects their involvement in the future.
It started in SMX playoffs last year. It was done right before the first round, so it was just on the bikes and jerseys. For 2025, it's sprinkled everywhere throughout their pit area, truck, team wear, etc.

We really need to the AMA to step up here in the next couple years as these Cali claims start rolling in...
To my knowledge there’s only a handful of providers left in the US who write policies for Motorsports facilities.
I haven't looked at your pit bits yet, will right now, but did you see Progressive is even on PHX Honda rig!
Probably 1-2 companies who will actually take the risk on. When you get into these outlier types of risks, everyone ends up going to the same underwriters.
They're also part of the Quad Lock Honda Team.
I figured that would be the answer but they need to take a look at our sport and expand, given they did I bet a lot of riders would consider supporting them back!
Wish in one hand and shit in the other. Let us know which one fills up first. AMA is worthless. Aside from protecting fat drunk helmetless Harley riders their next biggest worry is if a B class kid races A class at a local yocal that isn’t AMA sanctioned. It makes perfect sense if you don’t think about it.
They have a logo on HRC, Phoenix Honda, Quad Lock Honda, Star Yamaha, Red Bull KTM, Rockstar Husky, Progressive Suzuki and Twisted Tea Suzuki, plus various series sponsorships. Basically everywhere except Kawasaki.
It's through the HRC team's sponsorship. Phoenix, Quad Lock, and SLR all received help through that deal.
Totally dude. Lucky for me the CMA is going through a great reworking and have been super helpful for me up here. I hosted a Hare Scramble this fall and was able to save over $2000 on insurance for the race weekend through them.
Am I the only one who had to do an internet search to see what "Quad Lock " is?
I have been running there phone case and mount on my street bike and mountain bike for years. Lots of enduro riders use them so you. An run a map on your phone as well. Australian company from what I understand. Could be wrong though but lots of people using them.
That's not really how it works. Going in to new markets isn't a flip of a switch type deal
Actually it makes a lot of sense. The complaint is about insuring events, but when you have riders participating at higher levels than they should be, it increases the risk of an insurance claim.
Pit Row
I guess the advertising is paying off for them, because now you (we) know who they are.
But when I saw the name, I thought it was some kind of cool locks for protecting your motorcycle from theft.
Funny enough, I’ve known of them for about a year from YouTube ads. I used to watch a lot of FortNine’s (Canadian powersports dealer) YouTube videos, and the Quad Lock ad was on just about every video. I remember specifically that the narrator was an Aussie, which makes sense, since they’re and Australian company.
