I think it was Bill O Rielly, not Glen Beck.

Oh that's right, UK is a French hating redneck, I forgot. Glenn Beck told him to hate the French.

Deano is pretty funny as well. He had a great little segment on the webcast at RedBud.
Pretty sure Pourcel is 450 bound next year thus leaving Dean the 250's within his grasp.

Early in the year, some mechanic from PC was comparing the styles of Wilson to Pourcel and he said of DW, "He's not as smooth, but he sure gets it done." I had yet to see him ride, but now I'm a fan. Very grounded and mature, that amazing Mr. Wilson. He will go very far, no matter who is retiring.

I hear what you're saying but I think this year is still within his grasp with Pourcel there still. One bad moto by Pourcel or a Southwick 09 type deal and Wilson is in it for sure. There's nothing I'd like to see more than to see Deano win a title.

What's not to like about the kid?

If Erin hadn't asked that question, you'd all be bored to death with his Dunlop tires that hooked up and got him up the water truck lane and his Parts Unlimited sponsors for footing the bill.

The producers aske the right questions and you finally got the right answer instead of the usual lame excuses.

Be glad you get to see the races and the interviews. Do I need to tell you how long we used to have to wait to hear Larry Meyers ask stupid questions?

Yeah, you can really root for this kid. When he washed out at Hangtown in that simple left hand corner, I was wondering wtf. Mitch? But he was just trying a little too hard. Now, he's right there with Canard and Ronny D.

His mechanic is awesome. He looked after us pretty good last week at Red Bud. He gave us some goodies and went and personally got Dean so we could meet him and he could sign our flag. He told us to come back after the race and he'd give us some other stuff, but we only had the 9:00-12:00 pit pass and couldn't get back in. His mechanic really went out of his way to hook us up so he is definitely a stand up guy in my books. Erin Bates is A1 as well. She was very accomodating to us as well. It was an awesome weekend and I can't wait to do it again.

His answer to Erin Bates "stir the pot bs" was awesome. She's always trying to get riders to bitch and moan about this or that and Dean was way above the BS Erin tries to pull. He just said straight up "Hats off to Canard. He wanted to win more than I did so he went for it". I'm liking that kid more every day.
+1.

Tell ya what, I'd want my mechanic to be a dork. The dorkier the better. The smarter the better. Just as I would want my surgeon to be a dork, I'd want my mechanic to be that way too. He's got my life on the line, literally, by taking care of my bike.

As for Deano: he is awesome. He was great as an amateur rider, and will continue as a pro. He has a great work ethic, and doesn't let fame get to him. Funny as hell too.

Naw, I was just kidding. Deano has made it very clear what country he calls his homeland. Either way I'm stoked. I'm a Scottish decent Canadian! Smile

Yes, it's true.
and I actually had a Canadian flag sewn on to my Jersey when I was a kid.
It was more for my Grandmother, who was born in Canada.
My Father's side is from Canada

My Father and my Uncle both served in the USAF in Newfoundland also
