According to steve matthes on the pulpmx podcast levi kitchen called over to star racing on the phone to ask which coast haiden was going to be racing on, they told him west coast, and he said sounds good Ill see you there…. Thats the type of fight I’m looking for from someone outta the 250 class. Haiden has been pushing these guys around since summer. Glad to see levi step up.
Levi dominated the first half of the sx season till mcadoo toook him out by accident. I think he feels like he has deegs covered in sx and isnt scared. I was pumped after I heard that. LFG!

Hot take maybe, but here goes: Levi = Deano
PC has a habit of purchasing unguided rockets. You have to go back to the Chupacabra, a guy that has retired from racing, to find their last guy to be even remotely successful on a 450.
Honda, Yamaha, and KTM (and even Suzuki if you credit them with RD5) all have a better record - in the last 10 years - of transferring people capable of success to the big bike class. Kawi would be better served to re-open their own 250 team and step away from PC.
I’d love to see the glory days of PC crushing titles and bringing us the next McGrath (Team Peak) or RC4…but I don’t see it in their current lineup.
I was in Seattle last year, and after that race, I had zero problems saying that Kitchen was the best 250 rider in the world. Obviously that changed a lot in the coming weeks, but he was very good during that stretch.
