Hi guys. I am new to this forum. I saw some discussions about the 87-88 pipe for the RM250. My bike is an 88 but had an 87 pipe on it which fit perfectly. I then decided to buy an 88 pipe for it since the rest of the bike is 100% original. I ended up buying an 88 DG pipe (brand new old stock) which fits perfectly too except for the radiator hose which is squished between the pipe and the cylinder. I have not ridden the bike after I installed the pipe but am sure it will overheat since water will not circulate properly because of this. I am almost making a dent on the pipe in order to give the hose enough clearance (the 87 pipe already had a factory dent on it for this purpose). Can anyone give me a hint on what else I could do (rather not dent my brand new pipe!). Thanks

I am actually having a couple of cone pipes made for the 88 right now and hoping to have them in the next month. They are damn expensive and take a long time to get, should be well worth the cost and time once I get them.
I will post some pictures of the new pipe once they have arrived.
