It's yours, newmann. A donation to Miles for Miracles or Road2Recovery would be very cool of you. Sorry Terry... should have mentioned it yesterday to you.

Now, if Bad Brad finds out about the jersey and actually wants it, it's your responsibility to negotiate a good trade Smile

PM me your address.

You obviously don't know me or you wouldn't be spouting off like that. I have never been bashful about speaking my mind to anyone in the sport at any level.

As far as my "berries"

How many asses has Hannah kicked off the track?
Nothing intimidating about Bob Hannah other than his persona.

You are absolutely correct, I don't know. And based of of the shit you spout off about you seem like the more bark then bite type. Could be wrong entirely.

Now if you feel like calling Bob out you should have a chance, prove me wrong. I just don't like the people that talk shit about another person doing something when they do the exact same shit, albeit to a lesser extent. You know since you aren't bashful about speaking your mind to anyone at any level in this sport.....

and I believe that, 500Guy co-signed you so there is some truth there. I just think Hannah feels a certain way and not everyone will agree with what he thinks or what you or I think. He is very open about how he thinks things are and had some valid points. He was on a radio show to express his opinion on a few topics and they are just opinions. We differ on our views of Hannah and that's cool with me man.

Bobs last SX race was a sad day........sorry but true............He should have pulled the pin sooner...............However he did say he was "done" in the interview with Larry Myers..........The fire in his eyes were gone and so was a legend......
Hannah's has been a "has been" for a 25 years! Alessi is still in it, he's never been great in the big SX hoops and now everyone expects him to jump on a new bike and suddenly be better in the hoops? Nationals will be here soon enough. Jump on a bike Mr Hurricane and race Mike or STFU. Steve Bauer could smoke you today man. No matter how fast you are or were in this case, nothing gives you a right to say the things you said.

How can a "never was" call a former champ a "has been" without hanging their head in shame?

He's no Decoster, Bailey or Mcgrath etc. Those guys stayed around and helped the sport by staying active in it. All Hannah ever does is stop by every once in a while and talk bad about the current riders. He said some awful things about Tony and the email thing, I think someone else handles the news letter now anyway. He didn't even have his facts straight on that, the news letter has been great about giving the other riders credit and is very professional. I look forward to it. He is actually pretty clueless and seemed drunk or something. Hannah was my all time favorite rider up until he started this stuff. He knows nothing about what's going on with Mike and Tony, he even admitted he doesn't look at the emails. I like the direction Vital has taken, the way it supports the riders and the sport. This was the opposite and most of you guys were like kids cheering at a beat down on the playground. Do you really think "Is this Chick-fil-A" was funny? Still trying to figure out what he meant by "this Black girl.." Not trying to start anything here, it's the way I saw it, it was a let down for sure.

Hannah stayed around for a little while after he retired from racing the nationals & SX....
I seen him at the Washougal national back in 1989 still signing autographs and talking to people as the sun was going down at close to 7PM at night on a Sunday, when guys like Rodger and Stanton were back at their hotels.
I also remember when he was helping Larocco when Mike was on Suzukis ,92ish maybe??
Hannah was also doubling on the OLN networks MX broadcast, doing some reporting.
I also believe he is still involved in a company that is in the industry that makes bike stands and other stuff.
The guy has done a lot since he first threw his leg over a bike.

Not to mention,he just did that podcast with Matthes and was on DMXS. Smile

As for him saying "this black girl"...
He was describing her, giving her props for hooking him up with free sandwich's.
He seemed excited about the whole story and just went into detail and told it how he seen it....
If someone is white or black and you describe them as a white guy or a black guy,I don't seen the big deal.
I got friends who are black that call me 'E' or white-E..... they aren't racist, that is just how they relate to me/see me.
I'm a white guy and that is what I am,so why should I be offended?

He's just kind of a Dick. I raced him in Anchorage Ak In 88 and 89. He smoked all of us of course. He brought JonnyO's 1987 Unadilla USGP bike and carried his own suspention on the airplane in his own two hands. I guess he was a little worried about our local fast guy at that time named Joe Good. Bob could not get beat in alaska of all places. I guess bob left the bike in alaska for awhile at the Good's suzuki shop in Palmer and let Joe ride it and joe told me that bike had 500cc like power. No wonder he pulled away up the sand hill so fast. He pulled the holeshot I was second at the sand hill he literaly got small going away from me. It had a very cheeteresque feel to it.

there is absolutly no chance this story is true. there is no chance that hannah would be racing a two year old johnny O bike at a local alaska race. and even if he did, he wouldn't be allowed to just leave it at some suzuki shop for just anyone to ride. this story is total B.S.! you are a dick for making this your first post noob! STFU!

Looks like our friend motodriller was telling the truth. Joe Good lives! 😀

Pretty sure motodrillers kid posts here from time to time, maybe he has a comment

What do we all think of this track? A bit one lined .Real MX eh? Or would a modern 450 make it look easy?

THIS!...is a Sandberm approved track! I would love to ride this track in my prime.

Motodriller JR here… Erik kehoe, Jim Pomeroy and Guy Cooper also made trips up there back in dads prime.

Watched this today with Motodriller SR after a day of drilling got cut short 😂 it was really cool to see my dads old stomping grounds, what a hell of a track that would be to ride on today… reminded me a little bit of mabton

Dad finished second Saturday and must have gassed himself a bit because he ran 6th in this moto, didn’t get any tv time after the start unfortunately but was still so cool to see this video.

He ride for Suzuki Arctic Cat out of Wasilla, (Joe Goods dad owned it) they would let him charge parts to his account then work it off all winter assembling bikes and quads and such, sounds like a pretty gravy deal to me

My only question though, is how did you know I was his kid 😂😂

For good reason. My question is did you actually remember this thread when the Hannah racing in Alaska vid came up on YouTube?

I do not start a lot of threads here at Vital and when I find something that i think is New Topic worthy but is of an older nature, like this race from 1988, I like to utilize the search feature in the upper right hand corner to see if its already been talked about. When I entered in this race  it brought this thread up. I scrolled down to see what post referenced this race and found it humorous that a couple of guys were calling motodriller a liar. So I posted what I did.

Honestly friends, the search feature here at Vitalmx can bring up some interesting old threads.

"there is absolutely no chance this story is true."  Well, guess again.  Yes it happened.  Not only do I remember when Buckwheat raced out at Kincaid, I still have a picture down in my weight room of me and a buddy and Hannah together in the pits after.  We were racing in the Over 30 race, obviously not in the same race, but it was very cool to see him out there.  And the video reminded me of how a real motocross track looks, and how great Kincaid used to be when rough like that.  They still race out at this track, but it is now smoothed out with tons of jumps.  Not the same, says me, the old guy who started racing on short travel bikes.
