Doesn’t sound like Tdags is as “confirmed” as stated by the OP. I suspect he’ll do his own thing with support from Toys For Big Boys wearing Callus gear.
As was stated to you before, the information you see under the GDR column was given to us by the owner of GDR. We pass and report the information we are given - at that time. This is life, things can change and we update it, as change occurs.
What media outlet are you reporting for?
Heard a GP and AMA points scoring guy has joined the paddock for 2025. If the rumors are true, said rider lurks here on Vital and can confirm.
So can we just stop being weird and say that Lars Van Burkel might be racing for the Guaranteed Home Comfort Racing team?

I’m absolutely so far removed from Canadian Mx but find it cool to see with the guys I used to race with still near the top!
Per the recent CMXU Podcast
- KTM Canada potentially seeing budgetary constraints forcing them to move to sprinter vans for 2025.
- Dylan Rempel suspected to be their 250 effort, with no indication of a 450 rider at this point.
- Not clear if they will be on the new bike for 2025.
- KTM Canada leadership will address these issues after the holidays.
v18 updated.
You can do a lot out of a van, and IMO it makes way more financial sense that way. Always thought that, especially for the off-road teams having to drive these rigs into the middle of muddy fields in bumbleton.
Eager to see how this pans out.
Hey Riders make sure your Paid up front . Paid b4 you ride and No hand shake deals on bonuses. I talked to quite a few O/o from Canada. They all say the Canadian economy is much worse than ours. And ours is shit. They only go home once a yr. Could be a good yr to finish higher in points though, as a positive. Especially in the Pre Mix class.

Julien Benek Injury Update
Mission, BC rider Julien Benek was training at the Triumph practice facility in Georgia this fall when he “nose-picked a triple” and hit the face of the following jump.
The crash resulted in a broken wrist. He also hit his head hard and did damage just above his knee.
His plan was to be on the line with his MVP Racing Team teammate Blake Davies at Anaheim 1 and to be honest he won’t say that still isn’t going to happen.
He’s been seeing a concussion specialist while waiting for his wrist to get better. He had the cast off last week, but the main problem he’s having right now seems to be just above his knee where the hit has been shutting off the nerve that works his vastus medialis muscle in his thigh.
He tried riding at his house but the pain was too high to make it worthwhile. But in true Julien fashion, he said if he’s at A1 “it won’t be to watch!” We tried for a percentage but all we can give him is 50/50 right now.
Heal up, Julien, and we’ll see you on the line when you’re ready.
How did Blake Davies get credentials to race A1? A few ax races in Canada? Not hating just asking.
International license.
He needed to get the CMA to sign off on his license.
I love how they let them pick triple digit numbers for their career numbers.
Career numbers shouldn't exist in Canada. That list has some of the most random people on it with a "career" number. Some of them don't even race anymore
IMO, at the very least the numbers 3, 4, and 11 should be back in rotation.
You get a year of grace to keep your number but need to score I think 25 points in a season to keep the career number. That is why 46 went back into use. No points for two seasons.

- GDR is planning to have Ryder McNabb contest for a 250 Championship in 2025.
- This would imply that the 250 rule is then expected to be changed for 2025.
- GDR also noted they signed a 3-year deal with Ryder to keep him in Canada.
- KTM Canada will likely be using sprinter van(s) and last year's bikes to compete in the 2025 Triple Crown.
- KTM Canada is still searching for a 450 rider with the departure of Josiah Natzke.
- Initial speculation is that Quinn Amyotte could fill this 450 role.
- Dylan Rempel is still expected to be the 250 effort for KTM Canada.

Nothing against Amyotte or Rempel, but yikes. Going from winning both championships in ‘24 to that in ‘25 is rough.
