A number of years ago I had reconstructive surgery on my left wrist as I tore the ligaments in a moto related accident.
Got back in the sport earlier this year and picked up a new YZ450. Mostly do trail riding with my daughter and open practices at the moto tracks.
Currenty considering either the GYTR hydraulic clutch or the ASV C6 pro clutch lever. May consider Rekluse options down the road. Open to other suggestions as well.
No to that.
Look into a works connection pro perch and lever. Hydro probably will be your best option though
Just get the auto clutch and enjoy riding!

A few/alot of drops of WD40/any light oil down the cable does wonders too.
GYTR...
I still hv & use mine from the late 90,s. I hv it on a Budd racing quick adjust perch. Same as a WC but cheaper . Lever worked on a WC perch too if I remember rt. They where sold in magazine adds , call ez pull lever. It’s a Honda lever not sure what yr tho. What yr do you think is best Last 2 stroke ? Much lighter pull than stock. I need another lever drilled out.
No idea which stock Honda lever has the lightest pull, I've always drilled a new hole in my stock levers to reduce pull, and on some I also lengthened the clutch lifter arm.
If you're asking which year Honda is the best, that's deserves a whole new thread!
Or what was the yr Honda lever that ez pull used ? 125 or 250 lever ? A 04 shape is different it’s the 1st yr of the oem quick adjust also. I bought my ex pull lever in 98 I think. I,m thinking about getting a 97 125 lever. I don’t remember if they changed lever shape threw the 90,s or if they had a better lever. Even tho Honda levers r the best.
That’s the Budd racing quick adjust & lever. Not the ez pull.
From 1984 to 1995 the CR125 and CR250 used the same lever #53178-KA3-840, from 1996 to 2003 they both used #53178-MAC-740, from 2004 to 2007 they both used # 53178-MEN-670.
McGrath used a TZ250 road-race clutch lever and perch on his YZ's to reduce the effort.
Thx Man. I knew you,d know . Haha. I think I will use the 96-03 / Mac -740. Nice rhym too 1 stab of the Mac & the DBP will attack.
