Actually looking for advice.
I have a wide chest , a smaller waist, with built legs as I have been weightlifting a long time. Mesomorph body style, I wear 2XL tops to feel comfortable, I’d say my waist is like a 31-30, maybe less, but my ass and thighs won’t fit in small pants. I usually do drawstring sweatpants or khakis because the size of the waist constricts the rest of myself and I look like a fooking clown. To make matters worse, my calves are also on the thinner side even though I hit those daily..
Currently 5’11 , 175 but that’ll go up as it is bulking season.
I am having trouble finding gear that fits my lower half. I am unable to try on all the possible brands or styles. Is there anyone else in a similar position? I bought some Thor gear and did not like the way the pants fit. They were 32’s, didn’t fit my waist , were too long in my boot, and were way too baggy. I am unsure if they were smaller if they would fit correctly still. The XL shirt fit fine, but 32 was the smallest pant size I think I could order as a set. I am kind of sure all brands and styles fit a tad different.
I am a fan of Thor and O’Neal stuff, but I’d look into other brands. Thanks for the outlook.
Y’all know thumbs down means you are doing it right..right?
You don't have a typical moto body so you're probably out of luck. Buy some larger stuff and get it tailored
You may have found yourself a new hobby...
Back in the day O’neal made custom gear
My boy is somewhat the same way. Wrestler and powerlifter with huge legs and wears knee braces so they are even bigger. He wears Troy Lee and Fasthouse but TLD has gotten smaller the last few they used to be pretty generous in the leg but they've gotten stupid tight. I'd look at Fasthouse but you have to order up at least a size they run small.

5’11 175 and 2xl? Holy shit. When I was 173 (5’11) I was a L and now I’m 205 XL
Luckily guys, my nana can hem, so maybe I have her teach me. Haha.
The 2XL fits big don’t get me wrong, but if I wear an XL, it is usually tight around my neck and my underarms. Mostly depends on the brand , but I have hoodies that are XL to XXL that all fit about the same.
The biggest I have been was about 205, I’ll probably get close to it again by the end of next year.
You never know when new skills will come in useful!
That makes sense. I think I’m only able to be 205 because I’m 36 now and don’t shovel or do labor for a living anymore. One plus to getting old lol. When I started lifting again I was expecting to drop to atleast 185 within a couple months, I think I gained weight at first lol
You might look at MTB pants. They usually make those out of a stretchier material. You won't find the same look or color combinations, but perhaps the fit will be better.
They off-road adventure type gear seems to run a little bigger in the legs. Most brands make a set. Some of the gear has the same style as the MX stuff.
Find gear that fits your legs and have a local alterations place take in the waist, should be < $50.
I like AM Gear, the pants fit normal, not like the skinny legs most companies are selling now.
I think Fly gear has a BOA system for the waist maybe that’ll allow more adjustability for you.
Second on Fly gear. They tend to have larger legs instead of the slim fit style.
5’11 and the pants are too long? What is your inseam, how is that possible? I’m 5’4 with built muscular legs and have trouble with pants being too tight. I size up to a 32 and try to buy whichever models have the greatest adjustability in the waist and tighten it down all the way.
I have not had any luck, you will just have to look like jusitn barcia with painted on pants.
