And suppliers that knowingly lie about their delivery times. Then you give your customer an ETA unknowingly based on false information. Does the customer care what your supplier told you? Hell no, they only care about what you told them.

I’d 👍 this one twice if I could. Absolutely pathetic what this guys went through trying to help people who desperately needed it. 

One of the guys at work, who has relatives who've been affected, told him a story like this. 

He told me about it this morning.

At first I found it hard to believe. 

But then I remembered obama going after the cajun navy, as they were rescuing people stranded on rooftops. 

It was only today that the army corps of engineers has been dispatched to the area.

I just got a voice message from the company who manufactured and installed the solar on my new house. The rep said something like,
"Hello, this message is for [insert my butchered name here]. Dis iya Xvulicoch hszorvvj from Sundruu solarthecompany which is to offerwill be ds frfr uhhhgrh istalling theh =snn thne new home [redacted adress] and thruuu will sebdning assist on new solar 90... for 90... up to 90 days, but we'll let you know if we can ex... expert... expert dite the process faster if you have any questions contact us at jssoneeerun xch blug solarfksf .com..."

Heaven forbid a person like that is giving me truly important information. I don't hate anyone who is still learning English; just the people who thought that was a good position for her to be in.

Stupid bitch overpays, by a shit ton, on the little stuff.

But gives a laughable quote on the big stuff.

She has no idea, I'm a builder, with an engineer friend, and have hired a private adjuster.

Oh, and the GF has an attorney. 

I guess she figures that people in N.C. are a bunch of hicks, who'll quickly take whatever small, 5 figure amount they offer.

Gotta feel for so many people that are getting fleeced by insurance companies right now.

Just got one yesterday, he introduced himself as Steve, I said nice to meet you steve ,this is Muhammad. 

And the insurance rates are fucking ridiculous. We have a condo that was insured with Markel. Got a letter a few months ago. Pulling out of the CA market will not renew the policy. Was about $200 yr. Calling different brokers, most said there's trees within 500 yards so "fire hazard" can't write a policy. One guy gives a quote $1,800 yr. Ok write it up. The docusign comes, guess what name is on it, "Markel". Fuck you Markel. We won't do business with you. Ended up finding a policy a bit cheaper than the Markel quote.

FUCK INSURANCE COMPANIES!!!

I went to my mortgage lender Chase to ask for a rate reduction when rates went below 3%. Got a straight up NO. Went to a broker, happy to have my business. Guess who took the loan. Yep, Chase. So, to Chase, GFY.

Home owners insurance I’ll also give a big fuck you. Bought a house in March 2023. Got it insured for $2,300 a year. Had to use insurance for the roof after a monsoon. Had to use insurance the first 4 months in the house running all new water lines that exploded and a bathroom floor. Also the bathroom had a line leaking in the wall so found that. They canceled me. Now my insurance is damn near $5,400 a year. 

And what really pisses me off is if you have to go to court because a neighbor did something wrong and they ask did you get paid by the insurance? Actually NO, not just NO, FUCK NO. Insurance has no physical product. The way they make money is by taking my money and at some point in time they have to give me MY MONEY back to fix a problem. All the money they have is from people that give them MONEY to hold, and then give back at some point in time in the future. And if the neighbor was to take advantage of MY insurance policy, They should reimburse me for all the years I've been funding the policy. So NO, the insurance company did NOT pay for the damage. I paid for restoration the preceding 30 years, every year. So when the neighbor's water bed sprung a leak and flooded the unit, they need to pay for the damage.
