Dear Powersports Industry Associate:

Regretfully, current economic realities, combined with severely cut advertising budgets and lack-luster participation in trade shows, have rendered publishing a trade magazine and producing such shows fruitless. Motorcycle Industry magazine/ATV/UTV-Industry magazine and the Powersports International Internet Expos (PIIE) are ceasing operation indefinitely, effective July 1, 2010.

We wanted you to hear it from us and wish to thank you for your support, confidence and patronage over the last 30 + years. If you would like to discuss your relationship with our company, have any questions, or would simply like to say goodbye, please feel free to respond to this email.

Heartfelt best wishes for a successful future.

Rick Campbell, editor/publisher
Motorcycle Industry magazine

I am amazed all the consumer mags are still being published..... mags are having a hard time across the board regardless of genre... the internet is taking over..... and mx/atv/off road sales are just horrific right now....

it has absolutely nothing about being "cool", it's about what industry/field you work in. This was an interesting publication with relevant infos on dealerships, markets trends, etc.

Very sad to see publications like that go.

Apparently all that industrie "work" has broken your sarcasm detector.

I read DealerNews back in the early eighties, when I was a mc dealer. (the other mag was possibly after my time, but still too bad to see it go)

The on line dealer show happened just this week. Sorry to see the only dealer mag alternative go away.
