Why not have a 125 pro class at...

the other half of the nationals that the women aren't racing at? How difficult would that be, as we already see that there is enough time in the daily schedule for it? Women at half, 125's at the other half. Sure would be sweet hearing 40 125's at full song again. Everybody knows that killing off the 125 class was a damn crime. Sure would be nice to see someone do something here in the US to bring it back. If they are raced on the professional level, there will be a demand for them. Put a 21 year old age limit on the class. Forget the homologation rule and allow Husky and TM in. Maybe Cobra will come to the line too. If the demand isn't all that huge for new bikes, then not all the Japanese OEM's will need to make them. Just like the 50, 60 or 85 class, not everyone makes one of those. Besides, the racing will be just fine without Honda.

Why would you want to emulate what the Europeans do? They are all no-talent idiots who have no idea what is going on in motocross.

If it doesn't work for the USA, how could it be expected to be successful out there in the land of borderline morons and second-rate motorsports?

Most of the posers on this board have never heard the sound of a full gate of "open" or "GP" class bikes, or even a real full-gate 500 start.

There is no sound like the baaaaahhhh-waaaahhhhh of 500s out of the gate. 125s are a music all their own.

watching video from the 90's and the last years of the pingers, I know we lost alot when the 125s went away.

No doubt the guys are going crazy fast on the 250f's, but watching guys make a 125 sing is pure MX at its best.

Excuse me I meant pre 1997, there were 2 strokes 500`s racing up until 2003 when they renamed the class MXGP, I think Karlsson was the last to ride a 500 Honda in the gp`s in 2003 or maybe 2004 at Uddevalla

Wow I didnt know someone was still racing a 2 stroke until then. I think Shayne King was the last to win the title on a 2 stroke in 96 on a KTM 360 .

I'm all for it.

Everyone but Honda still makes 125's, so maybe a company (like Service Honda) could assemble CR's for them using OEM parts, then all brands would be available (at least until the parts supply dried up, anyways).

Personally, I'd love it if it were a semi-"works" class with a 144cc limit and the ability to change frames and plastics. There are several examples already were people have done this. Like this KX:

Why not a 125 Pro class (age 16-20) 250f/250 2 stroke class then the 350/450 class.

Don't say that would be to many classes because they did it back in the day with a 125/250/500 class.
