Is this the best that Star could come up with for the bikes?. A boring black bike with the flag on the sidepanels… the stock bike contains two of the three colors of the american flag, it should not be that hard to make a blue/white and red bike that pops a little.

All of the big teams just half-ass slap on some number plate graphics, they have sponsor obligations to work around. The Red Bull KTMs worldwide are the worst (not to mention their Airoh helmets). Not sure what the excuse is for HRC or Ice One Kawi.

Hey guys, I would like to join the discussion about designs. I personally prepared graphics design for Romain Febvre. Unfortunately, it is never easy, as the team and the Kawasaki would like to keep the team look as much as possible. On the other side comes the federation, which forces us to use their proposals. And finally we have to put it together somehow, which sometimes takes 1-2 months of changes. At SCRUB we are doing this year graphics for 15 riders, which was huge amount of work. That's why it's sometimes great if we work with smaller teams, where we have better control on a design. For example our national Slovak team.

For sure everyone would be happy if sponsors logos did not have to be placed on the bikes and gear, but we can only dream about that. Attached concept of USA design edition, which I think will look great as MXON kit.

Yeah! People don’t understand the restrictions we get put under between the team/sponsors and federations. Some you have zero control some you have full control. Although, the star Yamahas have used that kit since about 2015

I'm a 65 year old cranky prick, and I have never liked the term "sick" as it applies to moto, MTB etc, never liked it and never used it, ever.

But Roczen's RMZ is SiiiiiiiiCK!!

Not GB but Finland used it for their announcement.

I thought Webster was supposed to be on a Firepower 250? Certainly looks like a HRC bike.

Probably a little late at this point, but does anyone know where to buy some Team USA merch? I saw 100% had Tshirts on Motosport but they were pretty basic and all sold out anyway. Links?

All proceeds go to Team USA expenses.

Hey, just want to say thanks for the link, dude! I ordered t’s for the wife and me. They probably won’t be here in time, but I’m stoked that the proceeds go to the team, and we’ll be proud to wear them when they arrive. Although it feels like Team USA was kind of thrown together last minute, it might be my favorite team to date. It doesn’t matter if they win or take last, I’m just stoked that we have 3 legendary riders that actually wanted to unite and represent the Stars and Stripes for the race. Top 4 teams look solid - can’t wait to watch 🇺🇸

I suggested Webster might get a factory bike when the team was announced, I think it was @ML512  that replied saying he’d be on a Firepower Honda. But makes sense to have all three on HRC.

I recall one of the podcasts saying that he would be on one of Shimoda’s bikes.  Unfortunately, I don’t know which one it was.

Just as you said, there are some serious restrictions when it comes to designing graphics. Most of the time the coolest designs would never be considered because they stray too far from the "team" look. It's not easy to make things super different year in and year out for the top factory teams like Star Yamaha. It must be different for you and your little teams.

That’s cool.  Wonder when was the last time, if ever, that one MXoN team was all on factory HRC bikes?  Maybe one of the USA teams from the eighties?

Ok, wasn’t paying much attention to what Mitch Evans was riding that year.

Yeah each team and federation have their say and makes it quite difficult to do sometimes.
